Joe's Older Than Dirt

Maybe I was expecting too much, but I wasn't overly thrilled with this place. It's rather pricy for what it is- a dive bar that's been there forever. I did *really * like the pork rinds- freshly fried & the seasoning was spot on. Our server was great. It's not that I won't go back, but it's definitely not on a must go again list when there's so many other great dive bars in the city with much better prices.Edit: a snarky response from the owner certainly doesn't make me want to come back. It also makes me want to change to one star, but I won't.

We stopped here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon since we were in the area. We were seated at a hightop pub table, which was not the most comfortable. The venue had the ambience of a local dive bar and I expect it's a busy joint with plenty of regular patrons after work and on the weekends. Extensive beer list. Friendly servers with quick, efficient service. Fish sandwich was okay, but had a strong flavor. Slaw was bland. Waffle fries were fine. Flies were annoyingly persistent throughout the entire visit, and it felt like they were winning based off of sheer numbers.

We stopped in here on a Saturday. We were looking for a place to eat wings and watch the game. We picked the right place!! So many TVs, food and drink specials, and tons of fans. We didn't really know where to sit and the waitress said,"Sit anywhere." After we told her we'd never been here, she smiled and began to make suggestions. We started with smoked wings. DELICIOUS! I ordered the kitchen sink nachos. Everyone loved the food. It was perfect sports bar food. I thought the prices were great and the portions were huge. Fun atmosphere will def go back!

Had not been in over a year and they covered most of their outside patio and added more TVs. Had fans and heaters (for colder temps). Great for day time football watching. Lots of beer/drink selections at various and cheap prices. Our server was constantly checking on us. Ordered the sampler and enjoyed that with our drinks.

This was my kind of place. If I lived here, I'd eat here frequently. I loved the outdoor space and how open it was. However, my friend and I ate at the bar. There were a few "old" men around the bar, which made us apprehensive to join, but the bartender was welcoming. They have a good beer list, but no cocktail menu. We had the fried pickles, I had the Picante Burger with chips and my friend had a regular burger with sweet potato fries. The food was so good! This looks like it could be a busy party place on the weekends, but for a Saturday afternoon it was such a chill place to hang.

I visited on a Friday night for some dinner and live music. They had their open air area closed off with the heaters on so it was perfect to visit even in the winter. The food exceededmy expectationsfor bar food! I got the chicken quesdilla with onions and peppers. It was so cheesy and the perfect balance of all ingredients. It was also a large portion. I got it with the fries which weren't that great, but my date got the onion rings and really liked them! The band was great! They were a lot of fun to listen to and multiple people got up and danced. The music was very loud though. I'd advise sitting further from the speakers or sitting inside.

Joes is one of my favorite videos for holidays! So many people showing up for fun. The staff keeps the energy and drinks following, and the entertainment this year has been on point!

This place is always bumpin! A great hole in the wall if you want some cheap drinks, delicious food, and a good time. The staff is always friendly and fun, and usually have some form of entertainment or live music. Every time I go I have a great time. I highly recommend next time you want some local, chill vibe at good prices.

I fell in love with the bar and its people. Seattle folk looking for drinks, food and we found it. Great atmosphere (haunted??) amazing food and service had me hooked. We are in town for live music and am so thankful to visit this place multiple times. You locals have it really good
