This is a little place 4 or 5 miles out of town, on a country road. Small town diner feel with so much in the menu that looks good, I couldn't decide what to get! I went with the 1/2 Rueben and a bowl of Soup Beans. It was a delightful lunch. Friendly staff and several diners on this Wednesday afternoon.

I can only speak about the beer cheese as I was busily doing the Beer Cheese Trail. Jamie was the super friendly owner who assured us that she was very particular about her cheese and thought we might like hers best. Well, we haven't had them all yet, but, we do love her cheese. It had a wonderful little spice flavor and was served with pretzels (great choice), Corn Chips (acted as great scoopers), and butter pickles (makes for a sweet combo with the cheese). That and an Ale8 all for just over $5! The very friendly staff and the adorable ambiance can't be beat!! Thanks Miss Jamie!!!

Food is fantastic! Staff is really kind and helpful. Love this place! Outside seating is nice in the fall!

Seems small but the food has a big taste. I ordered the open face roast beef with coleslaw and a little peanut butter pie for dessert. Everything was served quick by friendly people and the food was delicious. Give this place a try.

Great food.... friendly service ..... smiling staff..... will make the drive from Texas to eat here again!

I had the Pastrami melt, which was outstanding, and my wife had the hamburger, which was also amazing. Shared a cup of soup beans ... which may be the best around. JK's continues to be a favorite in the local area; everything we've had has been great!Update:Back today with visiting friends & had their chicken & dumplings. Wow...terrific serving of old time comfort food! Best I've had in Kentucky!

What a pleasant surprise on our road trip! Interior is charming and homey, surprisingly extensive menu, pleasant service, good food. Great place for lunch.

My mother brought be the chicken salad plate. It was really good. My banana was brown and mushy though. Also I would have liked more fruit and the muffin instead of a cupcake, like it used to be.

Probably one of my favorite local restaurants. Amazing sandwiches and a real hometown feel. Can't recommend JK's enough!
