Wow - I feel like I've been catfished big time.Explanation: I arrived on a Wednesday a little before opening with my grandson. While waiting, we went to the play area - excited after seeing photos from reviews taken from farther out. Thinking we could play a bit while waiting, we were both surprised to encounter trash and broken toys. Ok, that's weird and shocking but I will do my best to make the most of it and attempted to fix several toys that my grandson handed to me asking me to make them work. A little after 4pm, I told him it was time to go get ice cream and we walked to the building. We needed to wash our hands before eating so we went into the bathroom and turned on the light. There was dried urine all over the toilet but the trash bin was empty. Gross. Grandson needed to use the restroom so I had to wipe the toilet down. Again, disgusting. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday so you would think they would clean during this time, wouldn't you? Especially since someone had taken the trash out! We washed out hands and went for ice cream. Their prices are the same as Graeter's or Comfy Cow but their servings are half the size and their taste is sub-par. The star is for the sweet girl that waited on us!! I mean there are reviews with 5-stars and that talk about a kids play area. *Your kid is more likely to get tetanus from this playground than actually getting to "play"! Everything is broken and rusted!! I spoke to another mom who was there and had been there before who told me that it has always looked like this - broken & rusted toys. WHY??!! Why would you offer a kids play area full of broken and rusted toys? Let's talk ice-cream since that's why this place is known/listed. I "tasted" 4 flavors and settled on the one as it at least tasted like what it was named after. The salted caramel had almost no taste and the Coconut One had almost to taste. The birthday cake was meh. And the chocolate ice-cream with brownie actually tasted like chocolate so I went with that and the kiddo liked the optics of the birthday cake and the oreo type cookie ice cream. Seriously disappointed. But I promised ice cream so I bought the 3 scoops for us. While the lady was scooping, I noticed the MOLD on the rubber part of the case when she tilted the lid in to scoop. I should have walked away but I couldn't disappoint the kiddo so I told myself it would be ok. I did end up with a stomach ache an hour later. And I have an iron clad stomach! I didn't eat anything else that night so it had to be the ice cream. Not sure how the grand kid did because I dropped him off for his dinner, bath, and bed since he was exhausted from the day. He was also disappointed with the playground and asked why everything was broken.

Thick, creamy, flavorful ice cream. This little gem is not far from Lake Jericho and Keepers restaurant. In addition to cups and cones of ice cream, you're also able to buy pints and quarts as well. Pricing is consistent with other ice cream shops in Louisville, but I love meeting the people who raise the cows and make the product. Great folks! They also sell cuts of meat from their cows. Believe me when I say that once you eat local beef, you'll never go back! Additionally, they can bring the food truck to your event! Who doesn't love ice cream?

This is an awesome little operation. Their ice cream is delicious--I've had the cookies and cream, pumpkin pie and coffee. It's so creamy and flavorful. The staff (who are the owners) are incredibly kind and happily discussed their expansion plans with us. We live just down the road and are so proud to support them and appreciate that they're a part of our community. We're looking forward to watching them grow. Customers for life!

Truly a farm to table place to shop. Family owned and operated on the family homestead. They support other farmers in the area by marketing their products. Their ice cream is made on site and they have an Ice Cream Truck that can support local events.Close to I 71 exit 28.

What a great little find on a country road after dinner at a nearby Seafood restaurant (an equally great find). While headed back to Crestwood from dinner I noticed this Jericho Farmhouse, Ice Cream sign so I made a quick turnaround to stop in for a look and a little ice cream! I ordered a very good sized 2 scoops of Salted Caramel and Coffee, my wife tried the Banana Pudding and Coffee. We both agreed that every scoop was very good, the Coffee had a very bold and creamy flavor, the Salted Caramel had a good Caramel flavor and it was not too sweet like some Caramel ice cream can be! The store selections range from t-shirts and hoodies to Honey, Dips, Sauces and Spreads as well as a freezer full of Pre Packed ice creams, varietal cuts of beef, pork and lamb too. These types of stores are becoming more and more rare and this one is a gem, very clean, welcoming with very friendly service!
