Indi's Fast Food at 3rd Street

Pretty good fried chicken. Even with the long line, service was fast via the drive thru. Seems the lobby has been closed for a couple years. The chicken was fresh out of the fryer and pipping hot. I got the potato wedges which were also very crispy fresh and quite good. The chicken itself was fried to perfection but a tad under seasoned. The pieces were very large, so large I thought the thighs were breasts. Nothing like roided out poultry. I've been here before and have tried some of their southern inspired sides, like the yams, mac and cheese and the collard greens. They are all pretty good. It's not all chicken, they offer ribs and seafood dishes too. I'd say for fast fried chicken and southern cuisine it's a solid choice.

I eat here daily. The people are great with service and are always nice. My boyfriend comes here more than me and he's never had a problem. The food is too good, definitely some kentucky comfort. I'm always getting either spicy wings or their spicy breasts with a side of Mac & pink lemonade. Most importantly their hot sauce is bomb af.This place is still fire. I stopped in there on a Sunday night around 7:00 they was almost out of chicken said they don't cook because they closing soon closing soon was in 2 hours when I try to get some assistance with trying to understand it very rude in the Drive-Thru I called the manager or somebody on the phone very poor worth ethic. I live in the neighborhood it always enjoyed eating there prior to the new way of business with this restaurant I ended up going to poplar level road and being waited on the girl was very helpful and we got her food in a timely manner even though they had to cook it for us while that wasn't offered here is beyond me again as I said horrible experience horrible restaurant if you're not going to run it and have it up and running I don't see the point of it use your resources elsewhere enclosed is the receipt from where I went to Papa level road and received superb service. And the one star that's being generous because I wouldn't give it no stars

Omg I love their food!!! This place is awesome! The best Chicken spot in Louisville, KY. You must stop here to eat. P.s If you like some heat make sure to get some of their homemade hot sauce!!! (25 cents)

Indis, you've been to one, you've been to them all! Pulled into the drive-thru on our way to see a basketball game.Ordered the 6 piece with a roll and wedges, with a pink lemonade. Came out fairly quickly. The food was delicious! Smashed it! It was pretty hot but that let's me know it was pretty fresh. Definitely will stop there again!Oh I almost forgot to mention how much I love their pink lemonade! I've been loving it for the better part of 20 plus years! Since I was a kid that walked to the one in my neighborhood to now that is the one constant for Indi's and the wedges which are the best in the city for sure!

Indi's is a louisville staple. best wings in the ville. this location is my favorite and takes the least amount of time in my experience.

I have never made a review on anything but this Indis is the BEST Indis I've ever ate and I've ate here for 5 plus years. I love the wedges and hot sauce! It's the best! And best service.

Ordered 3 thighs, got 3 drumsticks. Sides a bit small compared to other chains. Despite that, it was delicious af

Another 3 star service review. Seems the last comment was disregarded for customer service and speed of service. The dude in the window repeated my order back 3TIMES & still left my cauliflower off the ticket. Like what the actually f*** The food taste amazing. The cod is always a good choice but I would have liked to get my WHOLE ORDER I ask for and repeated back to several times. Seems like they only hire junkies for the window. Honestly depressing because they're always zoning out, or looking really strung out. I understand helping someone out but it's tarnishing your business. Step it up before another company takes over and knocks you all out of business.

Was over charged Manager insisted the tax rate went up . (7%) . $300 order was charged $334.91 . They refused to fix the math insisting that what the cash register said .
