If you just need some reasonable priced food that tastes good in a light on frills environment. this is your spot. The small menu also makes it easy to make decisions. I like that. I also really liked the holiday window decor. Festive:)

My wife and I always wanted to be "regulars" at a neighborhood bar and grill. For us, the Indian Mound Cafe is that place. Owners Shiela and Julie took a chance nearly 7 years ago and took over the much maligned Indian Mound. They were an instant success. The formula? Great food, great service, and great value. The burger of the month is sure to please, and the homemade soups bring us back even in the heat of the summer. The menu is small but the servings are big. If you're looking for a great non pretentious burger, the Mound is where you should be. Friday nights, they have fish, not just during Lent, and some of the best gumbo in town. Get there early to make sure it doesn't sell out.Did I mention the wings? Forget those corporate places. The Mound has the best in town. While it is a bar and grill, it truly is a family place, too.We've seen so many children grow up in front of our eyes, including the owners' kids. When you go, order the burger of the month with onion rings and chili or the soup of the day with an ice-cold draft. Tell them Eric & Stephanie sent you. They'll get a good laugh.

This is a local favorite and now I know why. The chicken wings! The wings are a good size with a perfect crisp, all their sauces are killer, and they're certainly the best bang for buck you can find. There's plenty of seating inside as well as a patio out back. I'll definitely be back to try the burger of the month special soon!

Stopped in for lunch during wing week. I love this neighborhood bar. They did not disappoint with the wings. I got the spicy garlic and they have a good amount of heat. Nice and crispy. I'd say they are top five wings in the city. Friendly bartender. It was a quiet afternoon so I was served promptly at the bar. I'll be back for more of these awesome wings.

Simple, no frills dive bar. They don't even have menus! (If they do we never got one.) Classic food, burgers, sandwiches, homemade soups, wings, and bottled beers only. Server was fun and helpful. Street parking or park in back by the church. Sometimes seat yourself, sometimes wait to be seated just depends on the time of day. Lots of older locals, seems like a nice neighborhood spot! Was not clear how to pay, so we walked up to the front to get our checks since we couldn't wait any longer Would return

The best place in town for wings, soups, and burgers, not to mention homemade soups. Great place for reunions and parties. The MOST wonderful diplomat in Norwood runs the place.

Had a delish deluxe burger. The way a burger should taste. My friend had a turkey sandwich and said it was very good. Ice tea was not watered down. Real tea! Clean local cafe. Nice employees.

Honestly came in thinking this was just a small town restaurant with potentially decent food. I WAS WRONG. IT IS AMAZING. The food was soo tasty and perfect to order, as I did request a few extra things. The service was amazing. Luckily, I live close and I will be visiting again. If you're on the fence, give it a try!

Very much an OLDER clientele, but they have very friendly staff and perhaps some of the best chicken wings in the city. Burger of the month is always a good choice too.
