In & Out BBQ

They are not open on Saturday's. Just so no one tries to go eat there and is disappointed that they are closed.

This place is awesome! It's nothing fancy, but some of the most tender bbq I've ever eaten! I brought my mom here on Valentines Day and we both loved it!

In & Out BBQ had so many 5-star ratings that we made a detour off the interstate for a late lunch. We were not disappointed. Honestly, can you be when it's a diner-sized place with a smoker on the sidewalk out front? We never judge BBQ by our local style, knowing that there are as many types of BBQ as there are people in the world (it's the Baptist version of smoked meats, we think and if you're Baptist you'll get that joke). In & Out is no exception. It's a wet style, slightly sweet. But really, we think the reason to stop in here is the owner. He chats with you while he cooks and while you eat. He MADE OUR FRENCH FRIES to order - literally cut up a potato to fry after we put in our order. That's the first time I've ever seen that happen. Kenny (the owner/cook) is a great guy and he makes your dining experience wonderful.Great owners, passionate cooks - these are the things that move a meal from good to great. We'd put In & Out in the great category.

Incredible food! We stopped by after a hike nearby and happened upon this restaurant. The smoker sits out front and pitmaster Alan was working the meat and the wood when we arrived. Two slabs of ribs later we walked back in just to tell him how good it was. We tried to buy some of the excellent hot bbq sauce but unfortunately he's not selling it yet.Highly recommended!

Kenny is one of the most genuine and hard working men I've ever met! We love stopping by for the amazing food and just spending time. He's always smiling and welcoming.The food is awesome, Kenny is the best! Come on down!!!

Their food is amazing! The pulled pork and brisket are phenomenal and the fresh cut fries are my favorite! Kenny is the kindest person that will always bring a smile! This place is a gem in Winchester!!!

Was in town for a festival and was in the mood for some good BBQ and guess what I found it! I ordered a half slab of ribs and my wife got the pork sandwich! My ribs were good and my wife's pork was good too! My only complaint was the sauce and it tasted like store bought, the reason for the 4 stars!

The absolute best BBQ I've ever had! The pork is really tender. The fries are homemade fresh as ordered. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. Plenty of parking for a downtown business. I will be back soon for sure.

Nice little BBQ joint in downtown Winchester. The owner was working the counter and is a very nice and personable man who really appreciates each customer who comes thru the door. I had the brisket sandwich and the creamy cole slaw. It was a perfect lunch portion of food. The brisket was moist, tender and flavorful. The mild BBQ sauce was sweet and delicious. The cole slaw was quite good, as well. Sweet and filling. I look forward to trying other menu items the next time I find myself in the area.

Such good food and such good people! Cool location and was perfect simple BBQ to hit the spot. The employees made our day!
