Ice House

Second time here, this time for Corbin Tourism and Convention Commission's Restaurant Week. We had the dish the Shrimp Alfredo and is so delish! We wanted to attend the Billiards Tournament but it was canceled due to illness. This place is more an event venue that what you would expect for a restaurant. It has two full bars inside, a outside tiki bar, a large dance floor and outside stage. So if you enjoy concerts and other similar events, this place is for you. This may be suited best for large groups. Also if they are having a concerts, if you just plan on having a drink, (Cover is $12.00) don't expect to get in if you are not interested in the concert. it wold be more geared toward, girls night out, game night or karaoke, it may be a great place. Beer was ok, and food was average, nothing bad, just not my atmosphere.

Great place to get good food and a drink. The staff is friendly and courteous. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Joe had the ribeye steak, asked for a little pink inside, came out well done. I ordered the fish and received 2 large pieces, unfortunately the middles were mushy and not fried long enough. My margarita was bad, tasted piney. Baked potato was huge and very tasty. Coleslaw was very good. French fries were hot, soft, and not crisp. The building is really awesome. An actual ice house converted into a large area with a stage for band, and another smaller room. We enjoyed the decor and ramp to use. Cute outhouse at entrance by the ramp. Service was excellent as we were the only customers at 4:00 pm. Very friendly.
