Hotel Lex

Me and my family love this place. The indoor pool and arcade is insane: there is plenty of things for kids to do while here on the stay: they also have a court yard that has fire pits and corn hole. The bathrooms are newly renovated and beautifully designed. I wish the showers had a door. Because of the open concept it makes the showers seem a bit cold. Also the rooms can be very dark which is my only complaint. The staff here is top tier. Everyone is so nice and friendly.

We went to stay here for one night and it was absolutely awful! It's cheaply renovated. The room was so dark we had to take our lampshade off! We ended up with headaches from the paint and stain smell. The mattress was so hard I could have slept on the floor and been more comfortable. No phone in the room, one nightstand and when you take a shower it's freezing because it is open at the end and the shower door is barely half of shower and doesn't move so the water goes on floor. We gave it the benefit of doubt after reading mixed reviews. The pool area was the best part of the hotel. The check in was easy and front desk worker was nice. However, Saturday morning we had to go get a new key as it wouldn't work. We had to stand and wait as the worker was playing a game on their phone and had AirPods in, we literally made noise by sitting our ice bucket down to get their attention. Not professional at all. We were told we would get emailed a receipt and never did. Just save yourself and stay at a different place this was absolutely not worth $104.

Cons: Room was VERY dark, cheaply renovated, open concept shower is terrible,water smelled, backache from the bed, neck ache from the pillows, pop machines empty, one night stand in the room, refrigerator froze everything, ants in roomPros: The manager is very friendly, Mark at the bar is the best, awesome pool area for kids, nice courtyard with fire pits, exercise room was nice
