Well, unfortunately I experienced one of my pet peeves at Hoopsters. The food was good, the service was good and friendly. But, when I received the check I got a surprise. All prices had been increased 4% because I used a credit card. Now, had I been given fair warning, I wouldn't complain. I saw no signs posted as to the 4% upcharge for using a credit card. Nor did our server mention it when I handed her my card. Additionally, state tax was figured on the 4% inflated check. On top of that, the suggested tips on their check were figured on the plus 4% plus 7% tax. So the tip wasn't figured on the menu prices, it was figured on the menu plus 11%.These upcharges are getting out of line IMO. I thought we had found a new lunch place in our rotation, but I'm not so sure now.

Food was very very blah. They gave me frozen French fries that we could buy at the store then they charged us 20$ a meal per person. Definitely not worth it

I had a WDRB Be Our Guest certificate so decided to try this place out. Got bone in garlic Parmesan wings, boneless hoops hot and boneless bourbon siracha. All the wings were great. Thought bourbon siracha would have been a little more spicy than what they were, but great taste. Hoops hot had a great hot flavor. Also got the potato skins. They were just okay. I could not taste the taco meat at all. I could see it but no taste in the meat. Probably won't get them again. Definitely going back to try the taco pizza. Difficult to park... But I did go during March madness so that is a little my fault. They have specials each day but the website doesn't show it.

Hoopsters sports bar is a Jeffersonville Indiana sports bar and American eatery located just outside the downtown district of the city. My buddy and I were exploring the area and decided to stop in here for dinner one night as we enjoy sports, bars and food. So good combo for us. Inside is setup like most traditional sports bars with hog top tables and plenty of TVs with lots of local sports teams decor. So that's always a nice and fun vibe. The outside features a tall basketball hoop mounted towards the roof which was cool. I can't imagine what some of the more intoxicated patrons have thrown through that over time. On the night we went we had solid service . Our waitress was pretty attentive and kept our glasses full. They had karaoke going on which is both cool and annoying depending on the person and how good the patrons can sing. We started with an appetizer of Mozzarella bites. They came in the large square shape and had solid flavor to them. Not the best I've had but they were sufficient enough and a nice starter. For my entree I got the Chicken quesadilla and I just wasn't a fan at all. They use a Buffalo type cheese sauce that was real runny and just didn't mesh well for me personably. I'm more of a traditional chicken, shredded cheese and salsa guy. However it was still edible. My buddy went with a Hoopster burger and he felt it was just an average run of the mill burger. Overall cool little vibe and we always enjoy a sports bar scene. Food was just average and nothing that I would have to have if ever coming back. But I could see it being a place I may come for a game to have a few drinks or something.

I continue to hear good things about Hoopsters and decided to see for myself. I had previously placed a large order for wings for a neighborhood party, but never eaten on premises. They did not disappoint. My buddy & I found a seat and less than a minute later a server came to take our drink orders. Hoopsters has a great selection of beer on tap and it was served ice cold. I ordered 8 wings with a side of fries. I don't care for wings slathered in sugary sauces, and Hoopsters offers several dry rubs for wings. The lemon pepper was perfect. The wings came out piping hot-No way these were precooked and waiting for seasoning under a lamp. The fries were also hot and nice and crisp. Honestly, couldn't have been more perfect. Any complaints? We'll, it's a sports bar. So there's lots of noise from the patrons. If the tv sound was on, I couldn't tell. And I guess it was trivia night, so the PA was constantly filled with trivia crap that was blasted through the entire bar while perhaps 15 people were actually playing. Still, it didn't stop conversation from being heard. Hoopsters is a fun place. With a nice crowd and excellent food. A pizza went by that looked delicious. On my next visit I'll tear myself away from wings and explore more of the menu. Hoopsters (sorry, I gotta do it) is a slam dunk.

My buddy and I went here one evening to have a couple drinks eat some food and watch some sports. It was just OK it's your average sports bar which is fine I love sports bars but the quality of the food is a bottle of 303 is good it's not great to tell people yeah you could go there it's a fun good time. But it's nothing that I'm going to drive to go experience again. I got a burger and it was tasty the fries were OK but overall three solid performance.

Excellent wings, no breading and just perfectly cooked meaty wings in a sauce of your choice. Cut in house onion rings, thin and crispy. Beers on tap, multiple choices and extra cold.Super friendly staff, lots of televisions to watch the games. Loved the vibe, loved the food and kicking my self for not finding this place sooner. Voted best sports bar for the past five years.... well deserved. Family friendly bar.

Sticky bites folks. That's all you need to know. Horsey Mayo...... side salads the size of your head. Hand battered onion rings. Nice laid back atmosphere - super friendly staff. Only downfall - dressings are not homemade. When I have delicious onion rings, good ranch is where it's at. I've Decided to not go back to a restaurant because of bad ranch. This will not be one of them. Those sticky bites (chicken nugs with almost tsaos sauce with crunchy wonton chips and green onions) will keep me coming back!!!!!

Went on weeknight. The foods meh and the prices too but it's a quiet place with lots of TVs and comfortable seating. Friendly bartenders. Worth a stop if you're a local looking for a place to kick back and talk.
