This place is jam-packed with tons of items. In the front area you will be greeted by lots of beautiful watercolor art paintings. Then you can walk into other rooms where you can find food, dulcimers, pottery, wood ornaments & bowls, pottery crocks, and hand-dyed silk scarves. Except for the dulcimers and paintings, it had more of a country feel to the items. For instance, the hand-painted spoons and gourds. They had some Pappy's bbq sauce and I asked whether it was made with the famous Pappy Van Winkle's bourbon, but he didn't know. Didn't buy it - it could be named after some fellow named Pappy! I ended up buying some beautiful painted notecards.

Has a Dark interior, wooden walls with lots of interesting pieces. At first, the really dark interior turned me off. But, a worker engaged me in conversation and this seemed to brighten the envirinment. The store contained Hand crafted note cards, gourds, ornaments, soaps, musical instruments, quilts, walking stickes, jams, sauces, jewelry, etc. The workers were wonderfully friendly and helpful.

Went with a group- 4 of us- we were warmly welcomed at the front door by a sweet gentleman. Jimmy-Lou at Hot Flash Beads in the back is hilarious and has gorgeous handmade beads/jewelry at fantastic prices. She even gives demonstrations and explains the science behind it! We visited the jeweler on the side also- very good selection and prices. We loved this place and will be back!

Visiting Berea on a girl's weekend we saw a sign for "Hot Flash Beads" located in the rear of the Honeysuckle Vine gallery. We knew with a name like that we would have a check out the bead-maker and she did not disappoint! Jimmie Lou was one of the highlights of our weekend trip. She was a "hoot and a half" and really a great teacher about glass bead making. We bought some gorgeous earrings and pendants at a very reasonable price. We also left with great memories and are reminding each other to "keep our knockers up"!

This little shop has been here for years...Jordan described it well. It has become an artist's studio but I'm also glad to see the dulcimer's in the front window have stayed. That's something I remember from my first visit years ago. And I love that there actually IS a honeysuckle vine just on the side of the shop! :) Definitely a fun place to stop in and browse...

When I go to Ohio I stop by the shop. It is a great place to go. My husband is amazed by the time I spend in there. The owners are absolutely precious, kind and compassionately people. I never come out without buying something. They have a lot of unique items that are to find somewhere else. Stop by you won't be disappointed.
