Hometown Pizza - Bardstown

Yum yum yum! Once again pizza was on point. My salad was good. Overall this place is always good. Our server was friendly and kept checking on us. I had two little kids and even they noticed how attentive the server was! The restaurant was clean. Hometown Pizza never disappoints!

Maybe we were just hungry after a long day of bourbon tours and tasting, but this place really hit the spot. Great sub sandwich and pizza. Spaghetti with meatballs was good but not great. Would recommend this casual family pizza place for your break in the tastings.

Hometown Pizza is by far my FAVORITE Pizza! I especially enjoy it when eating AT the Restaurant! I've recently learned that all of the Franchises were bought out! I SO HOPE that the new owners will keep the Menu and the Quality the SAME! The Bardstown location has a lot of really nice people working there. Their Pizza is ALWAYS Hot, Fresh and DELICIOUS! PLEASE to the New Owners - DON'T change the Menu or the way the food is prepared! It's PERFECT just the way it is!

After a visit to Bernheim the family agreed to enjoy a pizza and Hometown Pizza was on our way home to Louisville. The restaurant has two sides of the building for seating and the kitchen/front counter sits in the middle, fully open where the staff can be seen. We were seated right away and drinks were brought to the table. We ordered a medium breadsticks, which is a delicious cheesy treat to get started. We also got a large pizza and a free personal pan because it was kids night. Crust options are thin or thick. I'd hoped their regular (thick) crust was similar to hand tossed but it was fairly breaded. The pizza lacked enough cheese and sauce to balance the crust, making it dry and not very flavorful. Same issue with the personal pan. Next time we have Hometown we'll stick with thin crust. Overall an average meal and service. Staff is fairly young and while they lack customer service skills, they at least keep your drinks filled. Visiting in May 2021, masks are now optional with the assumption that if you aren't wearing one that you've been vaccinated. Employees were not masked.

We were visiting the Bourbon trail and needed some pizza to soak up some of the alcohol. Hit this place up for a medium pepperoni extra cheese.It did the job. Snagged it to go and went back to our Airbnb. Little bit of a drive from Bardstown.

Favorite pizza place! This location is always excellent and service is warm and friendly. Cheese bread and thin crust bacon cheeseburger pizza is the best! Meatball sandwich is also terrific!

Really enjoy their pizza. One of the best pizzas in Bardstown. They have a kids night every Monday and Tuesday. Family night is on Wednesday.

i wish i could review just the food and not the service, everyone i encountered was rude and inhospitable

Yummmmmyyyy. I've had regular and gf pizza and you can't go wrong. Bbq chicken is delicious but so is the cheese bread!
