I've been making my rounds to different coffee spots on days that I work from home. I look for great scenery with comfortable and definitely good reviews. This spot came across my radar because I needed a place close to the area of my next stop for the day. This coffee shop is nestled in Loveland right along the bike trail. They have a great back/front? patio with plenty of seating. I started off outdoors with a meeting or two where the volume was minimal from all the early morning bikers making their stops for the morning. I had the avocado toast and a lavender flavored latte. The staff their was helpful for a newbie like me and for my order in quickly and decided to me within 5-6 minutes. I know it's only avocado toast but I really enjoyed this one. They had the perfect amount of each ingredient so you could taste every compliment in every bite. The pickled onions, the tomato, the avocado, to that delicious balsamic! Sooo good! After I finished my latte and toast, I went inside and spent a few hours finishing my work (plus I needed to plug in). Inside was quiet and I was able to work through all my meetings. The crowd started to come in around lunch, still nothing too bad that didn't allow others to begin their work. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely be back again.

Super cute place in downtown Loveland! Great menu, but we passed on food this visit. My latte was really good and there was wifi for me to use for work. Staff was friendly and accommodating!

Stopped at Hometown Cafe Loveland to fuel up during a long day of biking the Ohio to Erie Trail, and it did not disappoint. Not only was their patio charming and inviting on a summer day, but the food was delicious. We got the B.E.A.S.T. breakfast sandwich and Buffalo Chicken Panini, both of which were delicious. Highly recommend their smoothies as well - we got the Tiger Spirit which was so refreshing on a hot summer day. 5 stars!

Cutest lil coffee shop. However, service was poor. The girls behind the counter were not friendly whatsoever, to anyone who came in. All the patrons were talking about it. We ordered the Beast (bagel w egg, avocado) and the egg was so overdone it tasted like rubber. My vanilla cortado was probably the worst thing I have ever tasted. Didn't taste like vanilla. Tasted like a straight ash tray. Super disappointed. I think this place might need some new baristas.

This small restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Loveland. In fact, you can find it right on the bike trail! Tucked on the left side of the trail next to Narrow Path Brewery before you get to Lyles Barbecue, you will find this restaurant in a charming used-to-be house.Outside of the café, there is a large patio with tables set up. They have allowed people to sit outside even when the restaurant is not open. Run by a small Loveland family, the owner also runs his own catering business. All food is made from scratch, and it's super healthy.Make sure you check the website for their hours before you plan to attend, as most days they close at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. It's a perfect place to grab a smoothie after a morning run or a healthy snack after your time exercising on the trail.I recently stopped in to get a smoothie. I tried both the strawberry banana smoothie and the Loveland frogman smoothie. If you were looking for something green full of kale and avocado, check out their signature smoothie, the Loveland frogman.--such a cool name for us traditional Loveland folks! If you are looking for something a bit more typical, the strawberry banana smoothie with honey is delicious. We are thankful to have such a cute café on the bike trail!

After a nice bike ride on the trail, Hometown Cafe is the place to enjoy brunch to refuel for the ride back. I've tried several of their sandwiches, this and their matcha latte is THE BEST COMBO!! The staff here is always so willing to make substitutes without any issues which I very much appreciate!!
