Got a good night sleep after working out in the fitness center. They have free weight and cardio. The room was clean. The heat was a little loud but once I heated up the room I turned it off. I think it's a heat pump heater which I'm simply not used to. The breakfast was very good. I had a hot breakfast sandwich and an egg bagel. Great meal before getting on the road again.

Overall a nice hotel. The Suites are spacious and reasonably well maintained. The pool and workout room are modest but functional. They did provide daily housekeeping upon request. The breakfast was maybe the worst part; there was always a crowd, some stuff would inevitably be picked over and seating somewhat limited. That being said, there was enough to eat and it is included in the room rate, as is the parking. There are a few restaurants in walking distance, and many more within a short drive. The place is also convenient to I-75. It's about a 15 min drive to downtown or Keeneland. Overall, would stay here again.

WOW! You know you have a great hotel room when you look forward to going back to it to relax and unwind while you are on a weekend getaway and what makes this one more enjoyable is the hotel is new and super clean! Modern and upscale is the best way for me to describe it. Driving up to the hotel is well lit and the Home2 sign is in good view. This place fills up quickly on the weekends park early. It's also wonderfully located in the Hamburgh area of the city which is some of the best shopping, dining and lodging in this part of f the country. One of the most highlights of the day for me had to be the complementary breakfast. There was breakfast sandwiches, eggs, variety of parties, juices and hit coffee. The rooms of very "open" modern and upscale. Comfortably beds, full refrigerator, microwave dishes and a dishwasher. Other amenities include a pool, weight room, and computers with WIFI connections. This is by far one of the best rooms I've stayed in. Got my next reservation already. Happy Yelping.

This was my first visit to a Home2 Hotel and we had a great stay. I found this location using the Hilton Honors App. We were able to book and pay on line after selecting room set up. The hotel has 4 floors of suites. The entrance is a little small on the end of the building. The building and decor are upscale. Our suite had 2 queen beds and a fold out couch. There is an impressive kitchenette in the room, complete with dishwasher, plates, silverware, fridge w freezer and microwave. There is a work/dining table in the room and lots of counter and storage. The room was very clean. They've thought of everything for an extended stay.I saw on the tv that they offered a spin class during our visIt. The workout facilities looked substantial although I didn't visit. Kids were playing in the pool. The clerk was very friendly and check in was a breeze. Later in the evening we asked if they had milk for our granddaughter and they gave us 2 complimentary cartons. Complimentary breakfast was very good. There were hot and continental selections..,bagels, cereals, fruit and more. Coffee was excellent. Only criticisms were that parking is limited and tight. And no clerks or guest were wearing masks.Still a 5 star stay.

I never thought I'd have to leave a less than stellar review for a Home2 Suites but unfortunately this one is not like the other 5 star Home2 Suites my family & I have stayed at. I have stayed at Hiltons all over the world w my husband & since Home2 Suites have started popping up they have been our hotel of choice when we travel w our family. We always love these hotels but this one was a huge disappointment. There were so many issues that I will just make a list for you in no particular order. 1.Usually the sofa beds are easy to open up. This one was not. When my niece couldn't open it we knew there was an issue. My husband tried & when he couldn't get it open I got up & started looking closely at the sides of it. The actual mattress was wedged & stuck into the metal folding part. We finally got it open only to find nasty sheets. Housekeeping should be checking the sofas after every guest leaves & if they can't get it open, they should call maintenance. I guess they just decided they didn't want to take the time to do their job. Once WE got the dirty sheets off, we noticed a huge pee stain on the mattress. Now, here we are dealing w a messed up sofa bed, dirty sheets & a pee stained mattress after a long day. We are exhausted but THIS is what we are now stuck doing. We called downstairs to get a new mattress, clean sheets & blankets only to be told that the two girls were short staffed & they couldn't leave the front desk. So, WE had to go get these things! Seriously! 2.There were only 4 towels for 6 people. So, back down stairs I get to go this time. When I get downstairs I find the girls are there at the front folding laundry. The girls were very nice. I assumed they weren't the housekeepers so I wasn't going to take out my frustration on them. 3.Since my nieces can't get in bed yet & the hot chocolate/coffee bar is supposed to be 24 hours, my nieces & my mom decide to go downstairs to get hot chocolate only to be told that they don't have any & even if they did, the girls working have no idea where it is. 4. The headboard of our bed had a white crusty substance & some kind of oil smeared all over it. *Yeah, I almost threw up in my mouth too! Especially since my husband was about to lay his head against it!* I had to get a wash cloth w hot soapy water & wipe down the headboards. SOOO gross. Now, I am cleaning headboards too. So much fun. We should have been paid to stay at this place not vice versa. 5. The floor by the heater/AC leaked water all over the floor. I had no idea so my boots, everything in the bottom of a bag of mine & my husbands socks all got wet. We noticed this the morning we were leaving. Trying to dry our stuff w my hair dryer was fun. 6. When we got there, my niece had been walking around on the floor without slippers. I always tell everyone to bring slippers or flip flops for hotel rooms. (She had, she just forgot to put them on) So, I told her to put some on bc you never know how clean the floors are. We looked at the floor, Stains everywhere & her white socks, NO LONGER white. Ugh. Also, pertaining to the dirty floor, my mom was unloading some bottles of water from a soft sided ice chest we had into the fridge & she accidentally got some water on the floor. She bent over to wipe up the water off the floor w a paper towel. She called my name (at this time I remember I was scrubbing the headboards) I looked over & she showed me the napkin from wiping up just a small area on the floor & the napkin was brown! These floors hadn't seen a broom in awhile & I'm sure they had no idea what a mop was. 7. The blankets on top of our bed had visible dirty stains on them. It looked like they could have easily come out in a washer. My mom found a long black hair in her bed sheets. The more I think about it, the more I think housekeeping just made the dirty bed, put some towels in the room & took out the old ones & left. 8. Guess what was on the bathroom floor & shower floor/wall, LONG black hairs. Not one person in my family has black hair. 9. We pulled out the rolling dining table so we could use it. We pushed it right back under the counter.... WHY? It was covered in crumbs & grease marks from food. WOW!!!! Is all I could think....THIS place doesn't even have the right to call itself a Home2 Suites by Hilton. I feel like we were staying at some trashy roach motel that had put up a Home2 Suites by Hilton sign. We were completely deceived. I told the girls about these issues. I remained calm. I was kind to them bc I never blame people for things that they aren't responsible for but I did ask them to have their manager call me in the morning. I left my cell phone # & of course they had my room # & my info. The girls I spoke with were Serita - night shift front desk & Cadence - 3-11pm front desk. However, I never received a call from anyone from this Home2 Suites or Hilton.I recommend Home2 Suites all of the time but this location definitely does not measure up to the Hilton standards.

This hotel is fairly new so it's still in very nice condition. Their breakfast was the BEST hotel breakfast I've ever had. They served sausage, egg & cheese breakfast sandwiches on biscuits, croissants and English muffins. They were all very good. There is also a waffle maker which is one of my favorite things at hotels for breakfast. They also had cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, toast, milk, juice and coffee. The beds are comfortable and the pillows were great as well. I did call ahead to be sure the pool was open and heated, which it was. When we went swimming there were 11 loud kids jumping in the pool and splashing. Sort of annoying but that was the parents fault, not the hotels. The elevator smelled like hydraulic fluid or something but worked just fine. This hotel is right next to a few restaurants which was convenient. Our room had a refrigerator & freezer, microwave and dishes which was a great feature. I recommend this hotel to anyone in the area!

I have stayed here several times. This time a "manager" named Melissa decided to play power trip with my wife and I. First, I travel for a living. I stay at hotels over 100 days a year for work and probably another 50 for personal travel. We know what to expect. Rude obnoxious power tripping Mellissa is completely out of the norm. It started with her not liking where I parked my trailer and truck. She literally wanted me to move it two rows further away from the hotel. It's 5 already. There is no other space to park with enough room due to random single cars all over. The back lot is too small. Mellisa told Hilton I take 10 slots. That's a lie. I take 6. 40% off. There is nothing posted or in my reservation limiting trailer parking and I have parked here with my trailer on several other trips without Mellissa needing to shove her weight around as evening Friday night hotel front desk manager (obviously not happy with her life choices). Then when I arrived with my service animal ( not emotional support) she said I was required to register my "pet". I said she is not a pet. as a person with a disability, I find this connotation rude. She said I was required anyway. This is also a first of any Hilton I've ever stayed at. Bottom line, as a Diamond Member, I will not stay here again. I hope Hilton knows that when they hire rude staff it causes a reduction in repeat stays. I have this level at several chains. I feel Hilton is loosing their appeal. So if you like rude staff at a marginal hotel, stay. Otherwise pick somewhere else. At a minimum, make sure Mellissa isn't working.

We have stayed here many times with no issues. THIS TIME WAS DIFFERENT. My wife was checking in for a 4 night stay. The general manager, Chris Hatfield, told her her rate was increasing by more than double for the last two nights. She informed him she had a contract with the hotel for the lower rate and had received a confirmation of her rate for all 4 nights. In the end he said if she didn't like it she could just leave. An open threat. Lexington was sold out because of some event. This kind of abuse and bullying has no place in the business world. I haven forwarded a copy of the confirmation and will talk to corporate about this behavior. Be careful if your family travels without you and visits this location.

I loved our stay here. Breakfast was yummy, the worker at breakfast was nice and kept everything stocked and clean. The other workers were nice. The room was clean. There's no bathtub which is tough with littles, though. Also they don't do housekeeping unless you request it, which I think is the trend with all hotels to stay green. I miss automatic housekeeping though. We had two Queens and a pullout couch which were perfect for us. A little kitchenette with a full fridge, sink, silverware, even a dishwasher!I wish there was a vending machine but the little store downstairs is open 24/7. Just pricey...like $2 for a candy bar. Serves us right for not going and stocking up at the store. If I had a suggestion for them it would be to provide larger trash cans. With bags. Those tiny babies filled up so quick. The indoor pool was just alright. It was really cold so I wish it was heated, and a hot tub would be nice. :) Lots of places to eat nearby, you can even walk to some of the restaurants. I overall enjoyed our stay!

Don't ever stay here! We stayed there overnight beginning of this week and in the morning come out to find that our vehicle was broken into and our items taken/stolen! Ran back inside to tell the front desk and all she said was "ok". I asked for her to call the police and she gave me the number and said I had to call. Asked when manager would be in and she said 8:30 Am. Police showed up and he asked the front desk to see the cameras. She informed the police that there were no cameras on the property. The Police was also surprised that they were no cameras on the property. This is a HUGE LIABILITY ON THEM!!The police took our report and took the evidence which the perpetrators who broke into our vehicle left. I then went back into the hotel and asked if the manager had arrived. The manager was sitting behind her desk and not once came out to see what had happened! What kind of a hotel is this when there are no empathy and urgency to a manner like this! Hilton should be ashamed of themselves, and how this was all handled. We will never stay at this hotel, and advised that whoever is looking for a place to stay, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! You have no security there. No cameras anywhere and the employees that work there do NOT care about you or your safety for the matter of fact.
