Home run burgers is a Lousiville franchise burger joint that just opened up this location off outer loop right near the okolona and highview community borderline. Location was a longtime Dairy Queen's so when locals seen a new burger joint coming to this location there was some buzz. So when this place opened me my oldest daughter and a school friend of hers was excited to give it a shot. On our visit they was completely out of desserts and ice cream (queue up the is this an old McDonalds location and not an old Dairy Queen location jokes). So we stuck to burgers and fries. One personally ordered the Bases loaded in This baseball themed establishment. This was there take on a breakfast burger. It was decent. Medium sized sandwich and little bit greasy but it was a solid burger. My daughter for the Home run classic which is a ordinary burger. She was not a fan at all. My daughters friend got downFrench fries and I ordered cheese fries. We both agreed these fries were gross. They were sweeter than the ice cream they didn't have. Very strange to have a cheese fry and have a sweet taste. Neither one of us could finish these fries. The place was brand new when we visited. However the place was already pretty nasty and dirty. So not a strong start. Overall the once excitement was dwindled down with disappointment. Burgers seem hit and miss and fries are added to my "never trying those again" list. I may give them another shot soon. However, home run burger was more like a infield single for me. Nothing to get excited about.

Hi I stopped in here yesterday about 3 o'clock for a late lunch. This place is not getting very good reviews so I was kind of skeptical about trying it. But I went to the drive-through place. My order got a single burger with tomato pickle lettuce on it. It was about $6.50. It's extra for the cheese. The burger itself was really good. I enjoyed the flavor of the meat and I thought the bun was Nisen toasted so the burger itself was good. I will give it a four-star the price brings it down a little bit almost 7 dollars for a single patty burger is not the best price. But the guy that window is nice and the food came out quick.

The JUMBO hotdog is a regular sized hotdog. The fries were greasy and soggy. Will never spend money here again. I was at the Outerloop location. Way too expensive for the portions and quality of food.

This review is specific to their drive-thru, as I've now been a few times and come away impressed each time.I'd been meaning to pop by here since they opened last fall (?) and just haven't taken the moment. I literally drive by here probably 4x a weekday or more, but the initial bad reviews made me feel I should wait until they had a few more swings at the plate. However, when they put up signs recently that they serve breakfast now too, that was the push to get me through the gate. A good breakfast spot is right in my ballpark.I haven't tried much but their biscuits & gravy is tasty, not epic, but good, and inexpensive. The morning drive thru service was quick & friendly.Stopping by to pick up a couple sandwiches on the way home one evening was a similar experience & surprisingly quicker than expected as I ordered their pork fritter sandwich which I figured would take longer. Also, their mushroom swiss burger is certainly one of the better ones I've had thru a drive thru.

Back here with an update. Food is A1 like my last review. The service is also A1 and the crew seems to really enjoy working, giving the place a great energy.The dining room is really clean. The whole place really. But there's some leak in the men's restroom. Huge puddle, no signs.

Ordered from them and I received my order a hour later and food was cold bugers where not as order , 47$ down the drain

Just drive past and go somewhere else. Did a drive up order, NO ONE, I mean NO ONE was in there. There was however one car, parked crooked in a handicap spot with no placard - I would guess this was the person working. Food was completely wrong. I MEAN completely. I got back to work and scraped the gross chunky sauce off of the burger that shouldn't have had any.Also, do we have to give billing zip codes STILL at the drive thru window? COME ON IT's 2024!$30 right down the drain!

One of the few places open on Christmas Day so decided to give it a try. I got a double classic burger, and with the Cajun fries. The burger was pretty good, comparable to a five guys burger. I give it a 8.5/10 it was pretty good The Cajun fries were pretty good aswell. I see people saying that the fries are sweet? Not at all, but this could be because I got the Cajun. They were wayyy better than five guy fries, not crazy soggy like five guys, but a very similar taste. Solid 8/10 The costumer service was excellent. I ordered online, waited maybe 3 minutes to get my food when I got there. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the price. I ended up paying $16.11 for my meal, which is more expensive than five guys and most high quality burger spots around the city. Biggest takeaway from this is, if you like five guys, then you'll like this spot. Oh and order the Cajun fries so you don't get stuck with sweet sugary fries

Went for burger week. Only time Ive went. Waited 40 minutes, asked the cook about our order, she stated it will be out soon. Another 10 minutes pass, no food, she comes and asked us if we enjoyed our food. We had not received any of our food. She told us she would bring it to us, didnt bring it to us, then asked us if our food was good. We waited for an hour on one burger and fries. Horrible Service.

Tried this place for the first time. All I can say is the food was sub par. I had the bases loaded burger. It could've been a home run if the meat was seasoned! The strawberry Shake tasted like it was made with Strawberry Nesquick. The Cajun fries were good. I would suggest sprinkling the Cajun seasoning on the burgers it would help the bland burger taste.
