Had a hot bar to go. No thanks. Outta meatloaf. No sweet tea,because of a water advisory. So........3 strikes your out. Too many red flags for me today. No thanks. I think it might have been a good place to eat once upon a time,but not what I saw today. I would like to go back maybe and give them another chance. Everyone has a bad day occasionally.

This was so yummy! Great place to grab some home cooking with friendly service. Clean clean clean. Very affordable as well. You will be full and feel you got your money's worth!

Sat down and had homestyle grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. Not spectacular but just like Grandma would have made!And then had a sports conversation with three old guys all of them salt of the earth (UK and West Virginia fans respectively). Sat there with my .357 open carry strapped at appendix (nobody said a word about it the entire time). That right there is a slice of America that is dwindling guys. And that night, despite that reality, for an hour and a half all the vibrations in the world were just a little bit better.

The food was great for a typical greasy spoon type restaurant. What makes this place outstanding is the customer service. I have not seen better customer service in a long time. This place is well worth a visit

Very disappointed...not at all like years past.Carlene left and everything is downhill.Mashed potatoes no flavor.Beans from can and tastes it.Soup runny like tomato juice water.So sad...Get whatever you were doing two years ago back!

Best home cooking on the road, friendly staff, great variety. Always stop for a meal when fueling.

This place used to be called T-backs Restaurant. For a truckstop it pretty good food. Fairly recently however,, much to my chagrin, it has changed to Home Cooker. Yes I can handle change. However, it also changed the menu. What was a great menu with many delicious options, has turned to a much smaller basic humdrum menu. My farmers omelet was just meh, the bacon was hard, the rye toast was even too hard. The butter didn't help soften it up. Well OK the service is still good. I think I might have to skip this place and try other places nearby. Shame on these people.
