I recently visited the Holy Trinity Clifton Campus for a Creative Mornings event and I really liked the space! There was a large entryway, which helped with quickly getting the line of attendees into the venue. There were several small conference-type rooms where they set up the doughnuts, coffee, and kombucha. These rooms would be great for smaller presentations as well. Then, there was the best part of the space, the theatre. It really reminded me of The Palace, only smaller. There is a large stage and lots of seating. It was perfect for the event, and I could see it being perfect for lots of other events as well. The only possible issue with this space is parking. Luckily I didn't have any trouble at all finding a spot, but I could see where parking could become an issue if the venue were full. If you're looking for an event space I think this is a great spot! Just be sure to check out the parking situation first.

What a wonderful place!I have attended two separate and very different events at the Clifton Center.I attended a wedding reception in the lower level in spring 2015. It was the perfect size for the size of the wedding.I also attended WFPK Winter Wednesday in January 2016 with Gabe Dixon. I didn't even know there was such a lovely theater/performance space on site!! How did I not know this?! It is a fabulous space and performance venue! The only downside is the very limited off-street parking options. But you really shouldn't have an issue finding close by street parking if you don't mind walking a little bit.

I visited Holy Trinity Clifton Campus (formerly the Clifton Center) for a WFPK Winter Wednesday. I have visited this location several years ago for a Crescent Hill Radio show. The building is old but beautiful. The cozy theater is inviting. I also enjoyed spending time in the downstairs basement area for food and drinks prior to the show. Signage was a little sporadic which made the building difficult to navigate at times. Luckily, lots of volunteers and staff were available to point me in the right direction. Overall, this is a nice event venue. Be aware of the parking situation. Parking is free but EXTREMELY limited. I street parked a few blocks away.

I came to Holy Trinity Clifton Campus for a monthly lecture series. The lecture itself was a pointless exercise (I've relooked at my notes a couple times and I can't come away with a lesson from it to help you out or add a parable to this review. I love a good parable. HTCC is huge and has a lot of different rooms with a bunch of possible uses and purposes. I think you could find a space for anything. We had our lecture in a theatre that maybe had witnessed better days. The room itself served the purpose well. The two things I didn't like about HTCC was the parking situation (if you don't have loads of parking, maybe you don't invite loads of people). The bathroom situation wasn't optimal either but I'd bet that had something to do with the age of the building more than anything else.

Great venue. It is like a mini Louisville Palace, such a nice, intimate space, to see bands. Just saw a WFPK Winter Concert series, with Gabe Dixon and Brooke Annibel. It was a great experience. I loved that canned good were collected, for the food bank. Nice bar area, as well. I plan to make it back, for more shows.

The Clifton Center is the the perfect place to host a variety of events. I actually had my wedding reception in one of the large rooms downstairs and it was perfect for the size of our guest list. They also have a speaker system in the largest room designed for receptions that my wife and I used for dinner music.I also play in a jazz band that meets regularly and rehearses in one of the downstream rooms. It is the perfect community location to hold just such a group.I am sad to know that the owners of the Clifton Center are closing down soon... it will no longer be a rentable community center! I will always cherish the space and hope the building remains and continues to get used by someone, even if it is no longer open to the rentable public!

The Clifton Center is an event venue just off Frankfort Avenue. The Clifton Center hosts a number of concerts, events, and special occasions throughout the year. Personally, I've been here for the Taste of Frankfort Ave (an event where a number of Frankfort Ave businesses provide samples of their menu to benefit the Center) and concerts, including the fantastic WFPK Winter Wednesday concerts. My most recent visit was for a WFPK Winter Wednesday Concert. Parking is always an issue at the Clifton Center. They do have their own parking lot, but is wholly inadequate for the number of visitors. There is also street parking, but most houses don't have their own driveways. So it pays to arrive pretty early. Concerts are held in a venue in a theater on the 2nd floor. The theater is a little dated, but the seats are comfortable, offering a good view of the stage and a more intimate experience than some of the other venues around town. The sound quality is also good. The WFPK concerts are always great and this was no exception. The Clifton Center always has a wide variety of musicians (including Jazz, Classical, and Popular Music) as well as community events like the Taste of Frankfort or Give a Jam. You can find upcoming events on the community calendar on their website. If you see something you might like, then I encourage you to check it out.

Very cool space. Historic, yet simple feel. Room after room, all different sizes. The possibilities here really are endless. They hold concerts, the Derby City Film Festival, the Clifton 50 and other speaker programs, the Wild and Wooley Film Series, and I even noticed a dance studio that does children's bday parties. Not to mention the super convenient location to amazing restaurants. A block or two to Cafe Classico, Clifton Pizza, Grape Leaf, Varanese. Talk about a great place to be!

Yet another big gain for Louisville in the way of venues/community centers. I recently got a chance to tour the facility and was very impressed. The facility has mid-range concert venues and smaller spaces for things like tai chi. It's also available for group events.

We have our work offices in this building. The staff is really nice, the building is really quiet during the day, and they organize and host loads of great community events. It's got an eclectic look - as an old school building. As an old building, it also can be a little drafty, but that comes with the territory!
