Hill N Dale Park

This park needs a serious upgrade, mulch, etc. the equipment isn't easy for a new toddler to navigate, let alone the 16mo old twins I had with me. They enjoyed it and it was shady on a very warm, sunny day and that was wonderful. Probably my least favorite park, anywhere else is probably better for littler ones and as far as safe equipment goes.

You must park along the street to access this park (or live in the neighborhood). It's in good shape, but the playground isn't huge. There's also a basketball court and small shelter with a grill.

Okay, so I might be biased, but I have super fond memories of this park. It was a staple of my childhood, and I think that it had some really great stuff. Despite how rickety the equipment was, it all worked, and the creek running through it was pretty epic. There is also a house nearby with a miniature pony, so all in all, it is really cool.
