Hideaway Heights

Found Hideaway Heights during a cross country driveWe pulled into Chief Logan Lodge between Chapmanville and Logan, WV - looking forward to a nice dinner in the restaurant. Not so much - restaurant closed due to a wedding reception. No problem - we'll find something in town. Hey, Hideaway Heights gets 4.5 stars and is only a few miles away.Very good hand made pizza - folks making the pizza and running the place are working their tails off - seriously dedicated hard-working team.Overall - recommend calling ahead and ordering for takeout - not really set up for on site diningGood to go - stick with take out.

Pizza was outstanding; Margarita and Pepperoni. Very unique flavors in the crust with light garlic seasoning and notes of possibly hickory wood. Delicious san marzano tomato sauce topped with fresh shaved parmesan cheese, and the crust was perfectly stretchy and chewy. The inside was very messy, but the food made up for it. The owner mentioned they are moving to a new store, so that might be why the inside was not very appealing right now. Pizza alone is 5+ stars.

The pizzas are always very tasty and my favorite part is the breadsticks! If you eat them when they're still hot they're amazing. The workers are very friendly and helpful if you have any questions about the menu. I've been here a couple of times and i think it just keeps getting better and better
