The building itself is a marvel to behold. It's amazing to see and the items inside are rare and intriguing especially the harnesses from Hungary. Don't forget to go to the third level the man who owns it was very helpful in telling the history of some of the pieces. A very enjoyable place and they serve lunch in the back Monday thru Friday. Definitely worth checking out.

This store has a lot of antique furniture. Not all in great condition, and it's all piled on top of itself. I have no idea how you'd take something home if you wanted to. Nothing small has a price tag. I bought a small silver spoon and had to ask the price once I found someone to help me, and it was $5.30. Seemed pricy, but I wasn't interested in continuing my search. Good if you're looking for buried treasure.

We were in Lexington for the weekend. We'd stayed at Gratz Park Inn & decided to walk around a little to see the area. We came upon this large church with some random antiques out front & the front door propped open. We then saw the church was actually an antique store. A huge antique store, to say the least. We popped in to look around. We frequent the Saturday estate sales in Nashville, so we figured it would be something we'd like. The building itself is a sight to see. It's full of different items, it's literally packed full. It looks like something out of American Pickers. I wonder if American Pickers has been here. Anyway, we looked around & found the owner, along with a woman who made derby hats. It was an experience. We learned that the place had been there for a while. The woman who made the fabulous hats had been doing it for 20 plus years. We found a men's had we liked & she gave us a 'deal'. It's a place with built in bartering for the prices. The hat normally sells for $90, that had was for $60, but she would give it to us for $40. What a deal! She even stuck a label on after purchase. They take cards if you're wondering. Connected to the back is a little diner. The owner of the building also owned that restaurant. He told us that he would give us buy one get one free for lunch. We already had lunch plans, but was pressured more & more we finally had to leave. It was a neat place to stop in & look at.

I don't know who wrote the reviews for this place, but I visited today & was so disappointed. The venue has a lot of potential, but it is stuffed full of over priced vintage/antique furniture that is need of extreme repair. To add to my disappointment, the man & woman who were working never even looked up from their lunches or acknowledged my exisitence.

Beautiful store in a wonderful historic Lexington, KY church building! The stained glass windows are beautiful and add to the ambiance. The store is filled with lovely antique furniture, paintings, lighting and antique and vintage household items and smalls. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I would certainly shop there again on my next visit to Lexington.

This place is amazing. Huge pieces that need huge rooms to live in along with small, unique items that could definitely turn into your future family's heirloom pieces. All of it in a setting that adds to the quirky experience. Love places like this.

This review is for the milliner Anne Sawyer and the hat shop within Heritage antiques. I came into Lexington with one day to get find a Derby hat Ioved. I zipped around town to several places and someone suggested I stop in here. She has many different styles of hats to choose from. Anne was Derby time busy when I came in and many of the hats are in the far end of the store. I was helped by a super friendly & helpful attendant on the antique side of the store, and as I was on a budget she encouraged me to keep picking out hats that might work with my dress after the first one I picked was out of my price range. I spoke with Anne and though I was concerned her schedule might be too busy to be able to get my decor done in time for me to leave for the Derby she assured me she would make it happen, and she did! Super grateful to these ladies and this shop of helping to get me feeling good & stylish (and at a price I could afford) for my first Derby!
