A fun weeknight bar. Delicious cocktails and a strong Happy Hour make this a wonderful place to visit for a drink or two. The building is narrow and long with more seating in back than in the bar area. Servers are helpful and the restrooms are clean. The bar food is good, especially the homemade onion rings and the fried Bologna sandwich!

The food is reasonably priced, however, some of their offerings are just not good at all. their burgers are cooked bone dry and the buns are stale. whoever put their "hot chicken" sandwich on the menu should be tried at the hague - it is literally the worst chicken sandwich i've ever had in my life, as it was just a piece of grilled chicken absolutely dredged in seasoned salt and cayenne pepper, served on a bun without any of the sort of sauce one would commonly associate with a traditional hot chicken sandwich. i don't even think they put any condiments on it. it would've been a lot cheaper to just suck on the salt shaker instead of choking down that abortion of a sandwich. their "cuban" sandwich is just chopped ham, pickles, and mustard on an untoasted hoagie roll. it was the sort of sandwich i'd pick up from the cooler at a gas station for $5, not anything that anyone should pay $16 for.still, it seems a nice place to go if you just want to have a beer with your friends. they don't have a hand in brewing any of it so they can't screw that up. if you want to get something to eat. go across the street to the post or four pegs.

Really great place to hang out! Not sure if the demographic was college students and older? I saw a mix of folks that looked to be millennials.You order drinks and food at the bar then pick up your food at the back room. They give you a buzzer. It's a large place! Tons of rooms to sit in with lots of tables, a few arcade games, swing sets, and TVs.My friend and I both got Coke and some burgers. I tried the signature which had American cheese, caramelizad onions, bacon, and an egg. My friend tried the American: pickles and mustard, hold the lettuce and tomato.It's 2 patties so it was very filling and large! Was it 6oz? Maybe 8oz of beef? Not sure. Seasoned well and juicy! Not all that messy actually, but I cut mine into fourths.It came with waffle fries. Each one was crispy to perfection and seasoned. So good!Staff was nice. Someone came around to ask if we wanted refills and clear our trash. They even asked if we wanted boxes. I didn't expect that for a bar.The vibe is kinda hipster even though subcultures technically don't exist anymore. Slightly grungy vibes. They were playing rock music in the background. Parking wasn't hard. I wasn't parked even a block away on Goss. Would love to come back just for drinks and apps!

Not just a cool neighborhood bar. This place has expanded. There is now a sports bar area and another bar area with music/trivia. The food was good. Had a nice salad and delicious onion rings. My husband enjoyed his Where's The Beef vegetarian burger. $4 Bud Light draft. $6 Hauck's Pilsner draft. Bourbon selection is good with okay prices (not the cheapest but not over the top). You can pay over $100 for an old Pappy here, but there are better bourbons at lower prices...up to you. Bartenders very friendly.And you can take your drink to all the different bars because the systems are connected (and bartenders split all tips at the end of the night). Large outdoor seating area. There's a magician who wanders around on Thursdays (he's amazing). If you haven't been (or if it's been awhile), you should check it out. I walked so have no idea about parking. They have clean (and gender neutral) bathrooms.

Lunch date with my momma, hit the spot with the burger and slushee. And returned again for after church lunch with my guys and grandson. This is a great local spot with so many options. Something for everyone. Counter service with pick up at window. Such a good spot, how had this been open for two years I didn't know?! A new family favorite.

Cool spot to hang out with friends or a date. There was a drink menu, beers on tap, and awesome bartenders ready to create the perfect cocktail. The food options were numerous and everything we tried was sooooo good. There was even Bingo on a Sunday night. Everyone was into it too. I'm definitely going back!!!

We visited on a Tuesday evening around 5 PM for Happy Hour. The items on the menu with special pricing are all denoted with "HH" and there are plenty offered. There is an abundance of seating spots for whatever mood suits your fancy. Higher noise level near the front bar seating area and then quieter spots midway back in the "safe room", literally small cocktail tables are old safes. :)Finally, if one ventures to the back of the property, the outdoors open seating area is quite expansive and also includes the food truck pickup window. We had a beer and lively conversation while we waited for our carry out order. Street parking was relatively easy to find nearby for a weekday early evening. Ordered a Cobb salad and a patty melt to go, which we enjoyed later and impressed with the quality and flavor. Looking forward to return visits. Fun place to hang out and catch up, very relaxed, and employees are all very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable and happy hour is especially nice.

The best addition to Germantown/Schnitzelburg in ages!Even when it is busy, it isn't too busy!The indoor areas are welcoming and comfortable.The patio and outdoor area is maybe the actual best? Yep, that.Food offerings have changed on and off, but I always have a favorite on what is available, and there is always something tasty to try (the brisket egg rolls?! I MEAN!!). You order at the bar where you are also ordering your drinks, you get a buzzer, and when it goes off you pick it up yourself at the permanent food truck that is located between the indoor areas and outdoor patios.I am so pleased they found a way to keep and preserve the ole timey painted advertisements that were under the siding found during renovations. And I love the eclectic feel of the decor. And I love the friendly staff.They are open on holidays or leading up to holidays for folks with nothing to do. They will turn on your preferred sportsball game if they have the appropriate channel or streaming service.I come here a lot and I do not see that changing.

It's a nice bar with a great atmosphere that I got to try out during a Yelp Elite event. When I saw the "Since 1912" sign, I knew this place has been a favorite of many for a long time. Thanks to the Community Manager for organizing this event.Pros: Spacious, kid-friendly, great for date night.Cons: Hard to find parking. Lots of flies in hot weather. Beer should be served in pretty glass instead of cans.

The location and vibes for this spot are stellar and can't be beat! On warm days the doors are open and the outdoor space is sure to be lively!I would recommend coming here for drinks and hanging out with groups.
