The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. We stopped because I was feeling sick on our road trip back to Texas to Ohio. The hotel was pet friendly. Ours had a small bathroom with a toilet and shower and then there was a two person jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. Unfortunately since I didn't feel well I didn't get the chance to use since I spent all of my time in bed. There were two chairs and a desk area as well as a mini fridge and I believe a microwave as well. I didn't hear any noise coming from the walls but since our room was on the first floor near the check in desk and the breakfast area there was a lot of noise that came through the door. The one thing I didn't really care for is the AC, it never seemed to really cool down inside. It wasn't unbearably hot but not comfortable when you don't feel well.

They must have thought we were McCoys! Not impressed. The Hatfield Inn advertises family ownership that make you feel like family. We did not. We checked in to go to a funeral and were met with the fact that there is no elevator. Weird but no big deal. We brought up our things and found a clean room. Not too bad so far, then we began to go to bed. I don't really know what the hell is gong on with the beds, but they are sooo tall that it is almost impossible to get into. I am 5'11 and I had a tough time mounting the bed. I am traveling with older parents (early 70's) who almost could not make it up. Once we got them in there was no getting out. I went to the desk to see if they had a stool or anything that could help us out with this and received a flat "No!" And she went back to her computer. I asked her if all the beds were that high and she told me yes, curtly. I asked her about the handicap room and she acted like I asked her to recite the Gettysburg address and again shortly explained that those beds would be lower. Honestly it is kind of freaky. The beds are so high, and have such an overly soft pillow top that they are more like torture devices than beds. I also didn't really appreciate her need to rush back to her computer and not even converse with me. I know she didn't buy the beds but she made it clear to me that she didn't care one way or the other. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good, but I would rather bunk in my car than give money to a place that treats me like an inconvenience.

This is a great, clean, and comfortable hotel. I was passing through KY and stopped because of their great location and I'm glad I did! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and great quality, and the breakfast was homemade and phenomenal! Love this place and will definitely come back any time I'm in the area.

3 positive things I encountered. Comfy bed, continuous fan mode, and nice tv.The negatives. Small roomWasn't told I was getting a queen size.Outdated like the real Hatfield's stayed here Staff wasn't friendly(besides the woman the next morning)And the most aggravating was I was charged $20 per Dog. You don't get this money back. Most hotels charge a $20 fee up to 2 dogs. Not a fan of anything other than a deposit that you get back if room was unharmed. Better have a dog bed and dog breakfast if you charging for the SOB's

Very clean hotel with genuine people. The hot tub suite is a little small or this would be a five star motel. Convenient to the highway, truck parking, and a nice homey atmosphere makes this hotel a must for the area traveler. Gail at the front desk was very nice and extremely helpful.

staff was incredibly rude during my stay. I called them from my room about a couple issues and whatever girl was at the front desk was very short with me and then hung up while I was mid sentence, as if I was a bother and being ridiculous. the issues you may wonder?--my room was grimy to the touch, there was mold inside my nightstand drawer, and oh I was crazy enough to ask for extra coffee and two spoons. I was very polite when asking--I don't like making a fuss, but when something like what just happened happens, I can't hold my tongue and pretend that was a right thing to do, especially in a hospitality setting.bad people, dirty building, and throw some mold on top of all of that.Attached are a few pictures of the uncleanliness of this room. these are things that people regularly touch--they have to be cleaned between stays otherwise they end up disgusting

Hello, My name is Brandi. I wanted to write you regarding the hotel. So we had been at Nortons Children Hospital since Monday October 10th and we got discharged last night October 13th. Well on the way home we stopped for gas and our vehicle broke down on us. So we booked a room at the Hatfield Inn. Luckily the towing company dropped us off at the hotel and said the truck should be done sometime tomorrow. We talked to the lady at the desk and explained to her that we had just got discharged and if our vehicle wasn't done before checkout we were welcome to sit in the lobby. Well my daughter is in 4-5 different medications and she needed to lay down somewhere. She's is staying pale and dizzy. So we got to our room and loves it except the AC didn't work. We told the lady at the desk and she got us moved. We absolutely loved the room and the location. So we got up this morning and got checked out and sat in the lobby as we were told we could because our vehicle wasn't done. At this point my daughter is extremely pale and dizzy and had a bad migraine so we sat in the lobby and waited, because I wanted her somewhere secure in case we needed to call and ambulance. So about 1ish I called us lunch to the lobby because my daughter had to take meds which needed to be took with food. So about 2ish the Manager Audrey came out and told us we needed to leave at 4. We explained the situation to her but she didn't care. I also explained to her I understand tht hotels have policies but we paid for a room last night so it wasn't like we just came off the street. I even offered to show her the paperwork from my child's hospital visit. She continued to get ugly. I asked her what her name was and told her I was going to leave a review and I walked out, she then came outside where me and my husband and daughter was and asking me why I was having an attitude. I explained to her we didn't ask to be here but this was our only option and if it was just me and my husband we would've left and walked somewhere else right at checkout. She proceeded to tell me "well if you don't like it then go and get off property". So I had to get my child up who was pale, and dizzy and make her walk off the property. While walking my daughter got dizzy, thank god my husband was able to grab her. The tow truck people picked us up after hearing the manager kicked us off property. I was just trying to stay somewhere close in case I had to call an ambulance. We wasn't gonna stay another night just needed somewhere to sit until truck got done. Again if it would've been me and my husband we would've left and walked somewhere else but my child's health and well being was my class concern. Overall the location and the service before Audrey was great. You could do better with another manager. I understand hotels have policies I get that but we also told the woman the situation that night we broke down and she said it shouldn't be a problem especially being you have a child. Overall it was a great place to stay but not happy with the management. She's been reported to BBB as well. ThanksBrandi

I happened upon this gem of the interstate thanks to missing hotels at Elizabethtown Kentucky. It was the only one that Google Assistant found on my trip West for a hundred miles. I'm definitely coming back! Priced at the mid line with days inn, comfort inn, Baymont inn you get a better bed, excellent staff and amenities and a very clean room. I'll make this my destination stop next trip for sure!

This place sucks. If you have to cancel because of a family emergency, they make you pay for the room, full price. Most hotels charge a cancellation fee because they know they will rent the room. Not these people! Full price! They suck!! Never will be back and I go to Kelley Beekeeping often. I'll stay at a place with honest people!
