Harrods Creek Tavern

So I'm on my way home from grabbing my son from school you know college kids are always hungry bottomless pit. We pass this place on River Road all the time going home and it's called Harrod's CreekTavern. Is hidden away right off the river, which is very beautiful. It has a docking port and also seating down near the dock. The inside is very homey and extremely welcoming. The server that I dealt with her name was Rose and the owner or one of the owners Hannah came and spoke, and I found out that this place has been open for 20 years, but Hannah and her partner have owned it for about eight years. This would be a nice place to come to hang out with a group of your close friends. there's a pool table. There are slot machines there dartboard there's outside seating with a fire pit as well. I got the fisherman sandwich which is a very substantial piece of cod with tartar and whatever dressing you want on the fish and my son got the Philly Which he said about demolishing in no time flat because he said it was really good. I got fries with it and we got our drinks. I will tell you that rose was the best server and her personality and friendliness just shine. Thank you Rose so much for making this a lovely lovely visit. Hannah, I appreciate the fact that you came over and spoke with us because you didn't have to and I feel that this is a welcoming spot for anyone that just wants to come and chill and I feel that we'll be back because the menu has a lot of offerings that I'm able to eat so do yourselves a favor come on down the Harris Creek Tavern, and enjoy the ambience and the camaraderie found here. Look I found out too that they have an Airbnb above the tavern so if anyone is looking for a really nice getaway, come look them up go see Hannah and she'll give you all the details.

The food is classic comfort food. Nothing to write home about. It's cheap and will get you full. Wednesday night is Karaoke night. Most people here are friendly and inviting. They also have darts, grey machines and billiards. Fun to be had by all.

If anything, Harrod's Creek Tavern just gets better with time. From the moment you walk through the door you're greeted with a hello. If you've there more than once, you'll probably be greeted by name. The service couldn't be better or more friendly. My friend needed some company for lunch and I willingly tagged along. I just ordered a soft drink while he chowed down a bowl of chili and a grilled cheese sandwich and washed it down with a couple of frosty draft beers. The server still took the time to refill my drink even though I hadn't ordered any food. Harrod's has earned a loyal clientele by providing great food, exceptional service and extremely fair pricing. That's a tough combination to beat.

Just a fun " hole in the wall" old-fashioned pub with friendly staff and " interesting" clientele! we love their pizza and wings, but lots of other good stuff as well. Good selection of beer.

I come here all the time when Rose and Sycoia are her and they never dissapoint. They are the best at service behind the bar here. Love Harrods and its a vibe! check it out. Low key crowd. Grown and sexy. Food excellent. Love it!

As someone else noted on Google, outsiders aren't welcome. It is very clique ish. I saw a bouncer physically shove someone out the door last weekend for no reason. Some Karen's must have not liked the outsider. LOLAlso got a bad case of food poisoning about 2 weeks ago. Overall, prices are cheap and the games are fun (what happened to the shuffleboard table?)

Really enjoy the chicken artichoke soup. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Love going in here. The ambiance is clean and beautiful over looking the creek.

My husband and I went to have a drink and meet some friends on a Friday night, there was a good crowd in the bar so we squeezed in between some people to wait on a drink. A bartender named Nicole looked at the young man waiting next to us and snapped "I already don't like you", I could not believe what I was hearing. He hadn't even had the opportunity to get a word out before being bullied by the woman behind the bar. We left without putting an order in. I don't know what kind of privilege she thinks she has to speak to anyone like that but as a tipped worker I can't imagine she makes much. Maybe thorobreds would be better suited for her. The bartenders used to be personable and fun, now you get snapped for looking the wrong way while standing at the bar. This bar used to be a relaxing little dive, so sad it has turned into a dump.

Can we please get a bartender schedule posted so we know when we should come or not? This new girls attitude could be the worst I ever ever dealt with with a server! #Nicole my experience is this time only. Normally is a great spot. Pizza is fire. Other bartenders are great.

Horrible service. Waited an hour for food and we were eventually told that they lost the ticket. Don't recommend.
