Wonderful family owned independent business. Great food great service incredible prices.

Today we went to lunch at Harding Family Restaurant in Charleston WV. We had been out for a few hours on a day trip and got a little hungry. We stopped for lunch. Deacon has the child's Spaghetti with Garlic Toast and Lemonade. Kayla a Hot Ham & Cheese with fries and Noel and I went with Beef Liver & Onions, Broccoli w Cheddar Cheese. She had Green Beans and I had Veggie Beef Soup. They brought us a plate of Garlic Toast which Deacon blew away....The meal was good. The waitress awesome. Prices good. Definitely will go back again!!!

Wilted lettuce was amazing. Fried chicken was amazing and such a huge helping of 4 pieces.

Hardings has been a go to family restaurant for dine in or take out for many years. A couple reasons why we frequent here is the comfort food selection, including the smothered chicken dinner and the always on point Wilted Lettuce Salad. Whether we eat in or carry out the wait staff is always top notch. This trip we enjoyed a carry out order of Smothered Chicken and Spaghetti.

Delicious wilted lettuce salad (like my mom made), brown beans and cornbread, Sunday chicken and dumplings, liver and onions (convert), and that coconut cream pie. Friendly and very kind staff.

This place is amazing. True family restaurant. It is my understanding they are very busy after church on Sunday PM's. Nice little gift shop to look at after meal is done. I had the pancakes and left very full. Great service and even better food and atmosphere. Highly recommend this place

SALAD IS HUGE and delicious they will let you split it MAAAA THE MEATLOAF BREAKFAST ALL DAY BEST BREAKFAST OF CHARLESTON in the morning of-course. hard to make flapjacks at grill temp of 400 but they will and they will be delicious

Man where do I start? The food is amazing! I personally my usual order is the patty melt with fries, but there's a lot more that's good. I've never had issues with the employees there, they're all nice. The outside and inside look very nice. Overall 8.5/10

Typical family diner - adequate but nothing outstanding. Would probably not stop again.

Best food and service! I have become a regular! The chicken and dumplings are amazing!
