12/19/24Happy Sushi exceeded my expectations! The food was excellent and with an amazing value. Although i ordered to-go, the restaurant appeared very clean when I picked up the order. I appreciated the thoughtful packaging, with hot and cold items kept separate. The wings were some of the best I've ever had--crispy, flavorful, and unforgettable. The sushi was a perfect 10/10, fresh and delicious, while the soup and salad were also tasty. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality sushi and more!

Very MEH. Not horrible but not great. They had Ikura but it was served warm. The fish was tasty but the proportion of rice to fish in the nigiri was way off. The inside decor is nice but the outside has zero curb appeal. The only thing that was really great across the board was the staff - perfectly friendly and welcoming.Would I go back for a quick lunch? I guess maybe...Would I recommend as a great sushi experience? Probably not.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this tasty place deserves it.It's an accidental discovery, and we are very happy to have found it.Fast, friendly service!The 9 pc combo sashimi was so fresh that you could taste that fresh ocean fish flavor.Decided to also get the hibachi shrimp and chicken Lo mein and 6 shrimp Gyoza (steamed dumplings).They treated us with a couple of large tasty crab Rangoon.Another thing that was great was that the hot green tea was already made and brought out in cups and not that tea packet in hot water mini teapots that always leak at other places...lolTea was fresh and tasty.Very clean bathrooms!Excellent place, y'all!We'll be back!Yum!

I got the Monster Roll and Baked Philadelphia Roll. Cause I never thought of Americanizing sushi with steak ha, cool fusion there. It was good, I ended up chewing the steak part for a bit after swallowing the rest of the roll though, so maybe make it more tender. Not a big deal. Never had a Baked roll either, liked that. My friend got Rainbow Roll and liked it. I'd only done take out here before and hadn't done dine in. I had heard they had all you can eat, but turns out they don't, so oh well. It was still good to dine in once, and still, appreciate the cheaper price with 30% off. Waiters were good. Went at a time where it wasn't that busy. Fast about bringing out the food. Liked the fancy decorations that came on the plates.

Hole in the wall but great find because the service is friendly and the food is delicious. I had the crab rangoon roll and the spicy pork belly ramen, the broth was delicious and the meat tender. Papaya bubble tea was also good. I recommend this place.

Stopped in for lunch while doing some shopping nearby. Quick, friendly service and our server was very attentive. We ordered 4 rolls and all shared with our group. More than enough food and the sushi flavor was really good! Overall a good experience. In and out quickly and the service was very good.Parking was a challenge but again it was close to the holidays so I am sure that had something to do with it. Worth a visit, we will definately be back!

I first went here with my friend (let's call him YD) who was also a musician! He attended the University of Kentucky with me. I believe he graduated early. Either way, he said that he could eat a BUNCH of sushi. He couldn't eat as much as me and my friend E. The tradition here is to order in waves of 6 so as to receive your sushi on the coveted "sushi boat." It's gorgeous. You and your friend must then order 2 waves of sushi boat. Then, you must end with a single "Baked Philly" roll. It's a tradition. You will thank me but also hate me as that is a bunch of sushi. Will you find yourself saying a prayer that you make it through all of the rolls? Likely. Then you go next door to the Game X Change and find yourself a copy of "The Original Kings of Comedy" with Steve Harvey, Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, and D. L. Hughley. I only subtract a star because the copy we bought was BUSTED! Didn't play all the way through! SMH.

I placed a to go order and while on the phone the lady who was taking orders was extremely rude, she interrupted me3 times and when I picked up my food the order was incorrect and I even had missing food from the bag, I should have checked but it was late and I was hungry. The place was dead when I picked up my food so I am not sure what caused this but I highly recommend finding another sushi restaurant in Lexington or check you bag before you leave.
