I loved walking into the smell of fresh roasted coffee. They wall was lined with special blends made in house. This had to be great coffee! I was excited! Ordered two drinks off the menu that were supposed to be iced and a slice of pistachio cake. First, the young lady at the register asked what was in the drinks at least 4 times. Those items were clearly listed on the menu on the wall, which is why I chose those drinks. Waited forever to get drinks. Got to check out the great decor and adorable, well stocked latrine. Both drinks were hot, not iced, as advertised. At this point, I had waited long enough, and did not want to wait for new, iced drinks. The drinks were decent. I had high hopes for this cute downtown coffee shop.

I meet this establishment @ " the Copley farmers market ". They are there from June -October.on Fridays, 10am -6pm. I bought a 20oz cold brew on the spot to drink.. it was good . I then bought a columbian coffee 12 0z medium roast ground beans to bring home , the picture is below . The company representI've John in the picture below was excellent . The ambiance is friendly and welcoming, At the Copleys framers market which is located in front of the Boston Public Library. The street met parking is hard to find . However, their is a parking garden less then a block away , responsible priced.

It's located downtown in a storefront, adorned with crayon drawings and various framed photos. Friendly people serving rich smelling, great tasting coffee. Locals bring in dogs, tell tales and enjoy a moment of reflection or read a book. What's not to like? Come on in next time you're in Paris.

After the disappointment at Lil's, I crossed Main Street to go to Happy People Coffee. Nice people. Chatted coffee. They roast their coffee there, always a good sign. I ordered an iced latte and sat on the sofa before I headed back to the "city" --- Lexington. Perked me right up! 85

Was in Bourbon & desperately wanted some coffee. This spot came of first on Google and was really close to my destination. Space has in-store roasting and seating area. Staff greeted me and shared that expresso machine was down. I opted for coffee with Amaretto syrup & creamer-was delicious!! I really appreciate the Stevia sweetener offered on the counter. Many flavor options & other goods. I'll definitely be back since I usually come to Paris weekly. I enjoy supporting local small businesses!

I don't know why I never knew about this place before today!Stopped in Paris, looked up some coffee shops, and ended up here. I am so glad I did! Not only do they roast their own coffee, but they also offer bulk coffee beans and loose-leaf tea. I soooo needed a place like this nearby! They also sell some french presses and mugs, among a few other random accessories. It's spacious with several tables to sit and hang out. The woman (barista? owner? no clue) behind the counter was incredibly friendly and sweet. She was a ray of sunshine in my day.I ordered a lavender latte with almond milk to go and it was amazing.Happy People? Coffee? Definitely.

Happy People Coffee Co. The wife and I stopped in for a quick breakfast and a cup after dropping off the kid for school. Now... to be fair the barista at the counter was new so my first latte at Happy was a little heavy on coffee and light on latte but I had already consumed a pot at home so it was fine. The wife snarled her nose at it although she drinks glittery unicorn flavored sugar water. Gladly when I asked for extra hot it did come out EXTRA HOT. That is always my first test at a coffee shop. Yes I know milk will separate at 180. How close you get without burning it tells me how good you are and willing to push your comfort zone. Our breakfast burrito was tasty. Loaded with egg, guac, sausage, and pico. Portions were good but the prices were a little higher than I expected. I know local shops have to make a living and struggle early on in small towns but these were even higher than a coffee shop in Lexington. The side of fruit had some kind of "dressing" for lack of better words that I wasn't expecting and I didn't like. But my wife gladly finished and I think locked the bowl. After I ate I overheard the help talking about the Chai. I thought to myself "Yes... I love Chai. I shall have one." This was much better. The Chai (in my opinion) was a little heavy on cloves for my taste but the perfect amount of cream countered most of it. However in a few months when the weather turns cold... it'll be spot on. As we ate, for a while, we were the only ones there and I think know why. They have uncomfortable cafeteria like chairs that aren't for long sitting and relaxing. When I think of coffee shops it's big comfy chairs and couches where you can sit and talk, surf the web, or like us married people... make a grocery list. The decor is sparse at best. A random coffee bag hanging on the wall or a hand painted logo here or there. The "retail" shelving area was empty and didn't help the sparseness of the shop. Overall of course I will be back. I mean a coffee shop in my home town heck yeah I will be a regular. Hopefully as the business comes out of the up start phase and reaches its groove the other things will improve. The food is great. The coffee I know will improve as the help gains in knowledge and by no means am I holding that against them. We all have to learn. The only knock I have is the identity crisis it has. Drop the restaurant/cafeteria decor and relax a little.

Loved it. I am not a regular coffee drinker, but I like to have it about 3-4 times a year. Because of this, I never know what to order so I let the lady know what I liked and she figured out something for me. It was an iced latte or something like that, and it was great. A very light flavoring of white chocolate with the coffee flavor too. It helped that she was from the same hometown as us, small world thing, and we talked a bit about that.

Nice little cafe on the main drag of Paris. Their coffees are fresh roasted on the premises. It's a new place, one year old or so. The menu is modern American sandwiches, which are said to be good.On my visit I had a French press, with a fresh grind of Guatemalan coffee and cream cheese on their bagel. I will return for lunch or breakfast.

Fantastic roastery in the middle of Paris that is absolutely worth the drive to check out. Massive selection of beans and a huge range of roasts, from Third Wave light roasts to traditional dark French, and everywhere in between. They also age beans in bourbon barrels from a local distillery and create flavored options, though those aren't my thing (but they smell amazing).I had a large Guatemalan pour over that I split to drink half black, half with cream. I highly recommend that approach and the coffee is of the high quality that black is delicious. The barista (I didn't ask but maybe she's more that that?) was very kind and loved to chat about coffee. It was a really excellent experience! The interior was quite large with a roaster prominently displayed in the front. There was also a guitar to play which made my day.I'll absolutely be back and next time I'll aim for a roasting window and pick up some super fresh (I'm obsessed with the giant bloom of fresh in a pour over).
