Hamburger Hut

The food quality has gone downhill as far as the hamburgers. This has always been my favorite place to get a hamburger, but through the last few years they kept raising prices, and the quality of their meat keeps decreasing. I asked the waitress to please put our nap consult and catch up in a separate sack because I just don't think that sanitary to pull it up on the food. She apologized and said she was putting it in a bag and her boss said that she was not going to waste the money on a paper sack.!! you never know how much food is because their menu board just says what they've got but no prices. They changed without notice and also it's cash only so if you don't know what you're buying how do you know how much money to bring. You can no longer go in their bathrooms and wash your hands or use their facilities. It's just unsanitary when you look at it like that and you've been working hard all day and you can't even wash your hands before you eat. We ate there last night and that was unfortunately the last night. The hamburger meat didn't have a taste at all! They even charge for a cup of water.

Hamburger Hut was a nice roadside stop before heading back home. The price was not bad and the burgers were very good. I got a double burger with cheese (not a menace to society) with fires. The burger was dressed, juicy and very good. The fries on the other hand were crinkle cut, which is fine, but there was no salt or any other type of seasoning on them and they were very bland, being in the car I didn't feel like messing with ketchup packets but that might have helped. The curbside girl was not very friendly either but in looking at other reviews that seems to be common for non-locals. Overall good experience but I would skip the fires next time and probably try a milkshake, I just got a good shake vibe from this place.

WOW! WOW! and WOW!!! I mean SERIOUSLY!!! I have not eat Tenderloin that good since a place back home closed 15 years ago when the owners retired. Tender, perfectly seasoned, fries were the crinkle cut which I love and large portion for a reasonable price. GREAT Service! Friendly! Sweet! Kind! Helpful! And the desert. OH MY GOSH! That Banana Split was AMAZING!!! Not only did it have all the usual topping, but instantly you notice the container is bigger than your used to getting. But as your eating you realize that the strawberry covered ice cream is actually Strawberry Ice Cream, Chocolate covered is Chocolate Ice Cream and the Vanilla Ice Cream is covered with your Pineapple toppings. It was bye far the best I've ever had!!!

This place looks like a hole in the wall, because it is. However, they have the best burgers east of the Mississippi! You have to wait a little while, but it's well worth the wait. I would definitely recommend!!!

I've been eating here a couple of times a month for over two decades, Hamburgers are always consistently awesome, fries are good more often than not, and the coleslaw is some of the best you'll ever eat. Everything I've ever tried there has been pretty good, slaw dogs are awesome. Chicken strips have changed a bit over the years, but typically good. Service is always prompt and attentive, seen several employees come and go over the years, but they've always been very pleasant. Building has remained closed since covids, which is a non-issue for me, I'd rather eat in my vehicle or take it home. Just keep in mind that means no restrooms are available either, so that may pose a problem if you're not somewhat local.

I guess we all should have ordered burgers as it was the only decent food we received. The potato wedges and onion rings were overdone. The pork tenderloin was a dried out chewy piece of pork, not the traditional breaded pork tenderloin we expected. Very disappointing.

We stopped here on our way back home from Norris. 10/10 The cheeseburgers had fresh onion, lettuce and tomato and you can tell they were hand pattied. Delicious!!! The Cole slaw was awesome too! Can't wait to stop again and try the ice cream. The price was right too.

I haven't had anything from Hamburger Hut that was bad. It's 10/10, specifically the double bacon cheeseburger

The burgers and fries are the best around this area! They serve homemade burgers with amazing crinkle cut fries and they have the best banana split or hot fudge cake I've had! The sliders are great too! Also their chicken salad when I'm trying to eat healthy is very good. It's a drive up, order & they bring it to your car or you may call ahead. They also have outdoor seating.

A decent lunch in passing through. Good service and the burgers were tastyWorth a stop
