Gyro King

This is the best Greek food in Huntington. I spent 20y in Chicago eating some of the best middle eastern food you can get for America. This guy does it right. I highly recommend the original, the Moroccan gyro and the old no. 31 is its both sauces. We go there once a week for lunch and the portions are huge for just over $10.

Big gyro fan here. Tried Gyro king for the first time recently and I will honestly say it was ok with the potential to be really good! I got the classic gyro and the pita was great. The meat was under seasoned and not very warm. The tzatziki sauce was very bland. In my opinion, a good sauce makes the gyro. For me, the difference between ok and great here would have been a warmer sandwich with better sauce. We got our food quick, service was as adequate. Hopefully this business takes constructive feedback and grows to succeed for a very long time. I will try it again and see how it goes.

Had an INCREDIBLE herd gyro #16 and the best baba ganoush!!! The lamb was incredibly tender and juicy and the gyro was as big as my head. It was a steal for the price. The service was incredible. We can't wait to return. Super easy in and out from the street too!! Loved it. Great environment!

This was the best authentic gyro I've had in a long time. The owner was working the counter and he was very helpful and they were very generous with the meat. Everything was fresh and good tasting .

I have eaten there twice. The gyros there are full of meat and maybe sour cream on top, but...honestly the ones at Arbys are better. There is 2x the meat of the Arby's ones on the Gyro king but mine was pretty tasteless where a good gyro to me has the yogurt, the oregano and garlicky taste. Gyro king was BLAND.I love baba ghanoush, but once again the Gyro King has very little smokey taste like the best baba ganoush and the two times I've had it there almost no garlic. When I got it take out I added some salt to see if it would bring out the flavors better but didn't work.Their Hummus ok ok, on par with some you'd get at krogers or something but once again not garlicky and could use way more tahini.If you like this kind of food but you don't like garlic and spices this is for you.

I'm still sitting here after foundering myself and I'm ready to come back for my next meal. I had the spicy shrimp gyro with extra shrimp and it was phenomenal. My wife had the chicken Shawarma. Which was also great. Clean place, friendly staff. Good fountain drink. We seriously just found our new spot.

My wife had been wanting to try this place since it opened. We finally had the chance and it was absolutely fantastic. I had a Chicken Gyro, and she had lamb. Even our picky 6 year old enjoyed her food. Highly recommended.
