Old equipment, unhelpful staff. Those are the good parts. I've tried multiple times to cancel my account with no luck. They refer you to some 1800 number and it's literally ridiculous trying to get someone on the phone. Oh, then they say you have to fill out a FORM they have to email you but they never do. When you call back it's the same old run around. Finally did a stop payment on them with the bank. But I'd rather pay the bank for that than give this scam job another penny. Good luck if you sign that paper. You've been warned.

I can't speak to how difficult it is to quit, like another reviewer did, but I can attest that it was easy to join-- and cheap. I had to select between this and the other fitness center in central Nicholasville since both were about the same price with similar equipment. I liked the elliptical better here so I joined about 18 months ago, and I'm glad I did. I never am impeded from getting the workout I want. There are plenty of machines that are never monopolized at the times I work out, which is mostly evenings, sometimes daytime on Fridays and Saturdays.The experiences have been positive, my fob gives me entrance in the middle of the night if that's when I want to go, and the annual fee is only $35 with $10 a month to maintain. It is clean, and there is a shower in the locker room which I haven't needed to use since I live close by. No gimmicks. My only complaint is that the TV's built into the ellipticals sometimes fritz up during a program, and they always play pop music on the loudspeaker that is loathsome and repetitive, but I'm an older guy and a music snob anyway; You can't have everything! It is significant too, that the other gym shut down late last year! So I would have ended up here either way. I'm glad I chose this at the outset.
