This location has been here for decades and I can't remember the last time I visited. Nice location near the park a few blocks away. I was nearby and craving some gelato so I stopped in. Sadly, no gelato, the machine has been down for about 3 months and the server didn't know when it would be fixed. Bummer, but I still wanted some pizza. For the uninitiated, Gino's does the quintessential Appalachian pizza: thinner crust, sweet sauce, very greasy. It was served quickly and very hot. Very affordable, I got a "large" and with a drink the bill came to about $12 with the special they were running. Bathroom and inside is sort of run down. It doesn't bother me though. Here's hoping the gelato maker gets repaired, it's the only place in town you can buy gelato.

Best Gelato in the tri-state area! They have to go containers for when the sweets cravings hit late at night!

In town for just one night, fired up Yelp for the best place for pizza. Gino's was the selection and did a great job!She had the Beef Lasagna and I had a small 1/2 pepperoni/bacon and 1/2 mushroom/black olive pizza. The size of the Lasagna was HUGE! It was also done perfectly and tasted awesome!! The pizza? Just the same....not really huge, as it was a small, but 11 inches...and wicked tasty!Delivery was wicked fast! Said an hour, they arrived at the Fairfield Inn on Kinetic Dr within 35 minutes. Nice! When we are back in town again, we'll be hitting Gino's up for some awesome pizza/pasta and will try their subs too!

What happened? The food here used to be delicious and now it is just mediocre. I was back in town visiting and had to stop at one of Huntington's mainstays for us foodies. I ordered the Pubwich and it just lacked the punch it had at one time. The meat and toppings just did not seem as fresh and they were. I also ordered French fries and although I love salt, I could not handle these. They added way to much seasoning salt! This was the first time in probably 15 years that I dined in. Normally I would go through the drive thru or get delivery. I really enjoyed the aesthetics of the place. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an Italian street pizzeria.Next time I go I'll stick with my regular pepperoni and sausage pizza with Snyder's BBQ Chips.

Gino's is where the locals go to have great pizza and sandwiches. I go here all the time and it is always superb. Try their ham pubwich! Other Gino's locations make them wrong, this one is the right way! They have great pizza and the one topping large is always a hit. It's the best bacon pizza I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Usually this is a decent place to eat. This time, it was horrible. My husband and I came in about half an hour before our movie. I understood that we might be a little late, but that was okay.We ordered two orders of onion rings, half a veggie pubwich, and a regular full pubwich. We waited about 20 minutes before the waittress brought out one order of onion rings. If you like burnt, cold, half portions of onion rings, you would have loved them! She told us we could work on these while our other food cooked. After another 10 minutes or so, she finally brought out my husband's pubwich and the other order of onion rings. The pubwich was fine, but the onion rings were (again) burnt, stone cold, and half sized. The waitress informed me that my pubwich would take a bit longer, because they had burned it. When I asked why they had burned it, she informed me that it was because they were just so busy. I pointed out that we were the only people in the restaurant and she actually told me that the employees were too busy talking. Unfortunately, we were running late at this point and I told her to just forget it.TL;DR: Terrible, slow service and burnt cold food. We might not come back.

I called them last week, or so. Specifically asked them if they could deliver to South Point. Literally 7.5 miles away, just across the bridge from Huntington. Explained that my vehicle was broke down, and my disabled son really wanted a pubwich. He loves gino's. Anyways, I ordered $25+ in food, and even agreed to a higher delivery charge. Was going to tip at least $10. Give them my address, assuming they have the technology to type it in to see where I was.. (Obviously not).. All is good up to this point. The delivery guy calls me while he's in Burlington (3 miles away), and asks where I am. I explained, yet again a few miles from the superstore near where he was. He gets all in a puff, and hangs up on me. Called the store, and told them I'm in South Point, not Burlington, and he's literally 3-5 mins away. They said they couldn't deliver that far. After confirming like 5 times where I was. Thanks for the crappy experience. You get 2 thumbs up for being a-holes to a mother with a kid in a wheelchair, that only wanted to get him his favorite food.

We ordered 25 wings they said 20 minutes. Got there 15-20 minutes later. They said pull over it'll be "one minute and we will bring it out to you." Went to the lot waited another 20 minutes still no wings. Went back thru the drive-thru no apology. Four associates gathered around a register and the wings just getting cold on the oven. Was told over the phone the wings we were ordering were breaded and they weren't.Another time got bad(soured) ham on a flaked ham sandwhich. On the bright side the pizza was pretty good. Overall mediocre.

I was passing through Huntington and stopped here for a pizza. It was fine. It wasn't fantastic, but the sauce was tasty. Otherwise, there was nothing to set it apart from an average pizza.
