Really nice college that I had the privilege of walking around and taking pictures and exploring the area in learning facts about it. I really enjoyed our campus. It was nice and clean and had a lot to offer.

I had a great educational experience. There were four aspects that I enjoyed at Georgetown. The staff and teachers were amazing. Greek life was outstanding for a small private college. The career center is helpful for alumni and recent graduates. The athletics and clubs on campus were awesome . The staff and teachers were helpful and resourceful. Teacher at Georgetown are required to have a doctorate degree to teach at this institution. The average class size was 15 students which means you got more one on one experience with the teachers. The teachers had a good amount of office hours in which if you had questions or concerns you could speak to them. The teachers went above and beyond for their students. They would help students gain internships and jobs. Academics are extremely important at Georgetown. You have to work hard for your grades. Teachers will do their best to help you learn the material!Greek life is great at Georgetown! There are four fraternities and four sororities! Phi Kappa Tau, Lambda Chi Alpha, Pike, and KA were the main fraternities. There was one social fraternity on campus it is called Presidents House Association. They are a local fraternity. The sororities are Phi Mu, AGD, Kappa Sigma, and Kappa Delta. There are many events designated to greek life. There is greek week, greek blood drive, and intramural athletic teams! Many greek students who are brothers or sisters become friends for life! The career center has been extremely helpful for recent graduates. They introduce you to many different businesses and former Georgetown students. They help you prepare for interviews and invite you to career days ( Businesses come together and donate a day recruiting students for positions). Athletics and clubs were important to many students on campus. Georgetown has football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, women's lacrosse, women's tumbling team, softball, baseball, archery, and a tennis team. They have won many national championships and conference titles in all their sports. If your not an athlete or a member of greek life there are many clubs you can join on campus. There is Phi Beta Lambda (Business academic fraternity), Sustainability for the environment club, Georgetown Activities Club (GAC), Student Government, intramural athletics, ultimate frisbee tournaments, dance marathon and many more fun clubs. If you can't find a club to join you have the power to create your own club! Another fun activity at Georgetown is Finals Throw Down. It is sponsored by GAC and is a huge celebration at the recreational basketball court at the end of the semester. There is food, inflatables, games, and lastly a chararacter comes and draws cartoons of the students! The best part is that it is all FREE!In closing, Prospective students should come and shadow the college. Attending Georgetown was the best decision academically!

As a student they make you pay money to eat in the cafeteria over a 2 day fall break, even though you have a dining plan and the caf is operating otherwise!

Perhaps one of the most unprofessional environments on the planet. While I understand the college at one point carried a prestigious reputation, that has clearly gone away, and in desparation to maintain afloat, they have become an unorganized, dysfunctional, and embarrassing college. The academics are steady; however, for the price students pay to attend, there are seeious problems down to the mold infestation within dorms and classrooms, a squirrel infestation in the ceiling times of the freshman male dorms, inconsistent billing issues with a very nasty clerk in the Business Office, subpar cafeteria food constantly serving moldy meals on unwashed plates and cups, and a very forceful approach to convert you to Christianity if you are not. This campus has one downhill significantly as I have been a student here for a few years, and the new administration seeking to improve the college is instead making enemies with the student body, not working in the student's favor. This is a very depressing campus as you can feel the weight of the college's failure on you every day -- your best bet is to submerge yourself so far in Greek Life that you lose yourself to it. My advice? Don't let them fool you on the campur tour. This is a very conservative, non-progressive institution, and in fact, a very embarrassing place to have friends of other institutions come visit. For the same-ish price, take yourself to Hanover, Centee, or Bellarmine. I'm not too sure how much longer Georgetown will be around.
