Garden Springs Elementary School

Not a great school, but not terrible! Not a great place for an advanced or gifted child, although the gifted program is OK. The front office is extremely gossipy - recently a few different children have been sitting waiting for pick up and have reported back on all of the terrible things they are saying about parents. So unprofessional!

Bought a house bc of what seemed like a great school district. Unfortunately that is not the case regarding GSE. This school seems to condone bullying, even though they say otherwise. Staff has told bullied students it's their choice if they're bullied or not, tells them they're both being punished, both the victim & the bully. They isolate the bullied child(ren) & nothing is done to stop or prevent bullying in the future. Highly disappointed in what was a great school. Rated it 2 stars for how great it once was, there is hope it will improve in time, & since there are some great teachers within the school. Unfortunately if your child is bullied they act as if nothing can be done & some teachers show repeatedly they have no compassion, are rude & just flat out do not care about students. On top of it all, state test scores are low school wide. *From a disappointed parent of current GSE students.
