Garcia's Restaurant

I had heard good things about this restaurant, but what I'd heard didn't match my experience. I always order fajitas; I ordered veggie and my companion ordered chicken & steak. What I got was grilled veggies. There was no fajita spices/flavoring. That was again true for my companion; she got grilled meat, not fajitas. Additionally, her steak was sooooo thin it was like deli meat thickness. Pathetic! Service was also subpar. They were busy, but I'm taking that into consideration. My companion ordered a margarita but was never asked if she wanted another (money lost!). I had to catch someone walking by to get a refill on my water. We wanted an extra dish of salsa, and I think part of the difficulty in getting it was a language barrier with one of the runners, it definitely wasn't with our server. There salsa was really good. I enjoyed it, but it still wasn't enough to make up for everything else. Definitely would not recommend.

Lunch stop on the road. It is counter service where you order and they bring it to your table. Chips and salsa were very fresh and the salsa had nice fresh cilantro. We had the fish tacos which were perfect and a shredded chicken taco salad. $

The food was terrible and we saw a roach crawling across the floor after we started eating. I spent 90 dollars for bad food and to be disgusted.

Wow, the food at Garcia's is exceptional! The fish tacos and tamales were some of the best I have ever had. we have a lot of Mexican restaurants in Cincinnati, and I put Garcia's right up there with the best!

I don't normally write reviews but I have hardly ever enjoyed a restaurant as much as I enjoy Garcia's! My partner and I go to school in Campbellsville; neither of us eat meat and I myself am fully vegan. We share an order of vegetable fajitas with cream and cheese removed-- this portion is large enough for two! Service is exceptionally quick and we usually get our meal within ten minutes no matter how busy. We like to take our meat-eating friends and family here too and they enjoy their meals as well.ps. They have a house made spicy salsa that is great if you love spice!

I don't know who thought their new business plan was a good idea....but just go to Taco Bell. This place USED to be the best but lately the quality of service, quality of food and the increase in price is not worth it!! Go somewhere else.

Last time I went the food was good but I won't come back since it's not really a sit down restaurant anymore... the drink fountain is up front in a way where u have to get your own drink which is fine but you have to order your food up front. If I have a hankering for chicken rice and cheese that actually has grilled chicken breast then I may come back but hopefully they change back before Covid!

Just a glorified Taco Bell! Have to order and pay before you even get a table. You want me to tip before I even get my food. Again put a drive thru window and your a glorified Taco. Good was mediocre service was horrible. Won't be back.

This place has always been my favorite Mexican style restaurant, the best chips and salsa, and absolutely delicious grilled steak fajitas, with friendly service. But this has changed now. As you walk in they hand you a large menu and you stand there while they wait to place your order at the counter, which is awkward, then you're given a number to sit on your table They have runners who come over with chips and salsa, and then eventually bring your food, they didn't converse with us. The drinks are a self-serve station, plus that includes your own refills too. The steak in my fajita was cut paper thin and chewy. They've lost the friendly atmosphere, and sit down experience. Not sure wil be back.

We were given a very limited menu. The people across from us has the full menu. We order the combo fajitas because that was about the best thing on the menu we had to work with . I normally would have ordered Chile Verde or carnitas. portions not huge but ok. The beef ? Was so thin I thought they used Arby's leftovers. It was tough as well . The chicken was good until it cooled off . I loved the rice and beans and salsas . We have been there once before and we're not thrilled . The place we usually go was closed. It filled a hole and somewhat satisfied the Mexican food craving
