I was excited to try this place because it was locally owned and operated. Coming from Miami Florida I had the luxury of eating at different establishments with different foods and I was thrilled to find them in Yelp. I decided to take two of my coworkers with me since they have never tried arepas. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't bad but wasn't the greatest. My coworkers and I found our food lacked flavor. I'm so use to have different sauces and they really didn't have any. The bowls my friends ordered were ok, but again lacked in flavor. My order was the same. I know that one must cater to the local community but Venezuelan food like Cuba and other ethic options should never down play their flavors to appeal to local culture. Our culture is what draws the attention of others who want to try something different. Hope they can find a way to incorporate the amazing flavors that make Venezuelan food so delicious that I'll definitely try it again.

What a great find. It's inside a market with several other small places to eat and I chose this one because of the pork. The pork was so soft and flavorful I could not get enough. The rice was yummy and tasted better than plan rice. Prices are affordable and the staff was small but quick. Really nice place to try for sure.

This arepa place is relatively new to Logan street market and is serving delicious and authentic Venezuelan food.I got the pabellon arepa and it was packed FULL! The arepa itself is on the fluffier side but I'm not complaining! They definitely piled the cheese on, so if you don't do the best on dairy products I would suggest asking for less.Everything is made to order so you can expect a short wait for your food. I think their presentation could use some work as we got two different types of plates for one order, but I won't complain as long as the foods good.

Located at Logan Street Market so it's street parking. Staff was nice and it took awhile to get the food considering what I ordered was already cooked except for the arepa. Shredded beef was on the salty side and the portion was small.

I'm finishing off the last bit of COVID quarantining, no longer a prisoner to my home, but stuck in a mask for a few more days. Tonight, I found myself browsing third-party delivery services for places that are part of our regular rotation. Hoping for a fast delivery, I was jonesing for something ethnic (or less American mainstream) but browsing places that are close to home. When I'm in the mood for something different, but have been relying too heavily on carryout, Full Arepa has become a go-to. Located in Logan Street Market, Full Arepa is part of what one might describe as a marketplace with small shops, a food court type atmosphere, a bar, and more. If you've been, you already know that there's really no place like it in Louisville to compare it to. If you haven't been, it's worth making it a priority to check it out. Full Arepa is an unpretentious restaurant where you order at the counter. Shared seating is available. Service is excellent. They do carryout well. Exceptionally well. Full Arepa is a Venezuelan restaurant. An arepa is a mildly sweet cornmeal patty. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just notes of toasted corn. The texture is reminiscent of polenta that has been flash fried on both sides. It's what brings the flavors of Arepa Pabellon Bowl full circle. This dish consists of beef shredded, sweet plantain, black beans and llanero cheese. It comes with two arepas and a green cilantro sauce. The flavor combination of the sweet plantains with the savory and salty shredded beef are spot on. And although the black beans are a delicious accompaniment, the arepas dipped in the cilantro sauce are remarkable. Put it altogether, and this is the dish that I keep going back for. Pictured below is a carryout order of the Arepa Pabellon Bowl that I plated myself at home. This establishment is more than worthy of shoutout. It's the comfort food you need when you're sick, and just as extraordinary when you're not.

In Logan market, amongst the many great little stalls, stop by Full Arepa and enjoy some of the best Venezuelan food in Louisville. We got the Arepa shrimp - soft, fluffy arepas with perfectly cooked plump shrimp, sliced avocado and some fresh and bright salsa. Put it together as a sandwich or eat it separately, it all tastes fantastic. Definitely worth the a visit!

Great little spot for delicious food. I really enjoyed everything I tried from this place. They have some delicious Venezuelan items like cachapas that I would love to try at some point. This time, though, I ordered the pernil bowl and tres leches. The pernil meat was absolutely incredible. Super flavorful, perfect texture, and decent portion for the price. You get quite a few sides. I tried the yellow rice, black beans with cheese, and plantains with the meat. The rice good. Decently flavored and not too oily, like the other place I went to. Not too much rice either. The plantains were sweet and pretty succulent. Overall good. The beans themselves were good, but the cheese tasted somewhat plastic-y.I really enjoyed that cilantro side sauce. It was a little bit creamy, and super savory as well as flavorful. It went really well with the meat. The container was small though.I tried the classic tres leches, and it was great. Super fluffy, creamy, sweet, and just all around delicious. They top it with a nice amount of whipped cream. They also have a unique dessert called Bienmesabe that I have never heard of before, so maybe I should have given that a try too.All in all, one of the best Venezuelan restaurants I've tried in a while. Really delicious pernil, amazing sides, and yummy tres leches cake.
