I wanted to eat greens and I remember driving by this place. So I decided to order take out to give it a try.I had the jerk chicken, the brown chicken stew, greens and a vegetables. Everything was absolutely delightful. The chicken was so tender and full of favor. The vegetables were steamed cabbage I believe which was so good and I usually don't like steamed cabbage. I will stop by again to try other items from their menu

This is a small quaint place. We were referred here by a local.Several of us ordered online at least 15 minutes prior. When we arrived they were nice but definitely were unprepared to provide full service. We waited an additional 20 minutes because they were out of chicken and an order had to be changed. Everything seems to be a la carte. There were 2 oxtail bones in the container. The oxtail did not come with rice n peas or cabbage. Oxtails were sweet and super salty. The macaroni was dry and crunchy. The greens were delicious! My bill was over $30 I received one container of oxtail with sauce, a container of greens, & rice n peas (which I'm glad they allowed me to switch from white rice to rice and peas).

I employees are wonderful, the flavor was absolutely perfect, but the food was a bit dry. I'm going to give this restaurant another shot, but I asked for wings, got drums. Asked if it was fresh was assured it was but it was clearly reheated.

This area next to Findlay Market has a lot of turnover, but this place felt lived in and well-decorated. There was little doubt it was a Jamaican restaurant. The menu has some vegetarian options (I-tal, one assumes) and I was happy to select a vegan plate which gave excellent variety. I got my greens in with the quinoa and kale salad and some sauteed cabbage, but the rice and beans cooked in coconut milk might have been the tastiest part, and it all mixes together well. Then again, maybe the best tasting thing was the plantains on the side. Either way a nice platter. Historically, I've found that Caribbean restaurants tend to be some of the slowest service places I've visited (it's in the culture; I wouldn't be in a hurry if I lived on a tropical island either), but here my food was hot and quick.I wasn't offered any sort of drink, and I was puzzled they wouldn't have some Ting or hibiscus or something. I also was surprised at the price, which came back over $20 for a plate before tax. I'm not sure they'll be able to make it at that rate, but seeing as how there's not a lot of this cuisine in this part of the country, I hope they are able to make it work.

This place was just okay for me. I love Caribbean food as I grew up with it and this was just okay. The service is a bit slow and there good be a bit of improvements. I ordered the fried catfish and cornbread and my guy order the jerk chicken with plantains. The catfish came with a sauce which was good. The corn bread was cold and lacked a bit of flavor. When I asked for it to be warmed up and a bit of butter. I received melted butter with the same cold corn bread. My guy said the jerk was okay but the plantains were not ripe and they were hard like a green banana and not sweet. So he did not continue to eat them.

This was an EASY 5 's for me!! I've now had Flavors of the Isle 3 times and have yet to have a meal that didn't completely satisfy me. The portions are a great size (usually a few leftovers), drinks are phenomenal (must try the rum punch), service is quick, and you can always count on some free entertainment with it being located across the street from Findlay Market!Great eats any time but I recommend a weekend visit or when you have some time to sit around and enjoy the area. Two things: get there semi-early because there is a chance some of the food options may not be available. Demand is high and they only cook a certain amount of food to ensure they minimize waste. Also, you MUST ask/try the P SCUDDA SAUCE (thank me later).

Dinner tonight, courtesy of the Too Good to Go app was from here. We had a generous portion of jerk chicken wings along with red beans and rice. There was so much food that I couldn't eat all of it. The food was delicious and I look forward to eating it again soon!

EVERYTHING! Ebony is the best - hard working and friendly. She's put together a great menu. Try anything on the menu and you'll be happy. Nice place to stop in for lunch or dinner. We stop when shopping at Findlay Market or before a FCC game.

The Food was salty and they provided a tinyb about of food for $30. I was not filled. The traditional Oxtail meal is served with rice and peas, provision, and fried plantains. Tired to support black owned business and was highly disappointed, in addition to bad service they didn't even provide us with plates. I would NEVER EAT HERE! Don't waste your money here, so expensive and the food and portion was TRASH. I could of went to the supermarket and made the food, for the amount I spent.
