First String Family Sports Grill & Pub

We stopped in here on a Saturday. We live pretty close to this area and didn't realize there was a restaurant here. This is your typical bar food. Service was prompt and friendly. My mom ordered the burger and fries. I ordered the sweet Thai chili wings. They were huge and delicious. Messy to eat but so good. They have seating both inside and outside and plenty options for drinks but it wasn't that kind of day.

When I first tried this place. It was recommended for someone that loved to eat here and swore the pizza was the best. I got to try it and it was really good. But somehow today when I brought a pizza from there the food was lack luster. Everything had a little bit of an over cooked feel to it. Plus the pizza tasted dry and tasteless. I was soo disappointed. Mainly because I recommended it to my sister and she is really picky about her pizza.

This place is epic. Best plate lunches. Kelly is the best server. Never complains. I come almost every day for lunch. It's like a family. Chloe, Frances, and Ronnie are all fabulous too. They make the food just how I ask.

The Monday Pork Chop dinner is just the beginning of the great things at First String. Every daily special is worth the trip and to sit and enjoy their pizza is a great opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere. The owners are great supporters of local community organizations and to patron there knowing how they give back brings it full circle . The Service/servers are as great as the cook....never a bad meal served with a smile!!!

Great neighborhood sports bar. Big enough to not feel crowded but not overwhelming in size. The food is affordable and good. We usually eat the grilled or fried chicken salad that cost about $9. It is iceberg lettuce but fresh and good toppings. I add bacon and green peppers for a additional price. We have eaten the pizza and it is very good. The service is usually good but it is typically loud, just bad acoustics. They have karaoke on certain days. You will need to check prior to going to see when that is happening. It is located in a strip mall so plenty of parking right outside the door. There are plenty of TV's to watch sporting events. Nice neighborhood bar with reasonably priced food that it not overcrowded. Plenty of beer choices but only in bottles, no tap beer.

We had a great breakfast and the server/ bartender was spot on. It's a family friendly down home place.

fun little Bar and grill. burger was good, especially the tamato bacon jam. also, I just want to say it was my first time here and KellI behind the bar was absolutely swamped. but man, i have never seen such a pro handle such a packed house. i don't care what they're paying her it's not enough.
