This is our favorite local Mexican restaurant. We eat here once every few weeks. We never have an issue getting a table. This place is pretty spacious.We're always greeted with chips and salsa, both hot and mild. Their hot salsa is delicious. Definitely my favorite thing about eating here. Their drinks are great also. Margs are top notch. I usually get the chimichangas and they're very good. The service is always good. Our drinks stay filled and the food comes out pretty fast. This is your typical small town, Kentucky Mexican restaurant. We love it though!

I've definitely experienced better. For some reason whenever we're away from home, Mexican food always turns out to be our go-to meal type of choice. We tend to get the same few items regardless of what new items are on the menu.Just like every other meal choice, my husband chose the chicken fajitas and I chose a taco salad. He described his fajitas as bland. I will admit, I requested my salad with a slight modification by asking for cheese sauce instead of shredded cheese. As it turned out, they used shredded chicken in the taco salad. There was a puddle of water/grease at the bottom. Yeah, I know this happens when they use the shredded chicken, but this was extreme. The waitress was very kind when I mentioned it and she was super honest and explained that the chef said that it was caused by the cheese sauce. Uh, no.

The real star of this place was the waiter, he was nice and absolutely hilarious. I can't remember his name for the life of me but he has some good jokes and a great sense of humor. It's very common for a Mexican place to have servers who are reserved and not very talkative with English speaking crowds because of the obvious language gap or cultural difference but it was definitely different here and I think that's what I enjoyed the most. The food was above average for a traditional Mexican restaurant, I've heard terrible things about this place but I do really feel like it's being cleaned up and fixed up by either new management or the staff finally wanting to permanently stamp this place and show pride for the place they work for. I ordered the steak burrito and boy was it filling. It came with a side of rice and beans, and every bit of it was tasty and satisfying to eat. I typically scoop the rice and beans with tortilla chips and this time was no exception, if you haven't tried doing that yet give it a shot. I think you'll enjoy the flavor blast. I'll be visiting this place again for sure whenever I'm in the area. Thank you guys for the great service!

DO NOT EAT HERE. Ordered food that wasn't even supposed to have steak in and it had raw steak all throughout it. Cross contamination is a no go! A friend has already gotten sick and if my 9 month old gets sick I'll do everything in my power to be sure they get shut down!

Service was good. Food was terrible! Don't waste your money! Chips was Old, no flavor salsa, Fajitas was burnt and Tough meat. Just straight up gross! Not sure what happened to this place, but I won't be back!
