Sorry to say this but this place just does not know how to run business. They have no sense of customer service. We received a gift card for two horse riding claseses. But on the confirmation printout, they did not tell you expiration date or how to schedule classes. When we called the number on the receipt one day to ask for further instruction, the lady who picked up the call told us that it would expire in one day. But she was not sure if the expiration date was just for scheduling or the actual date for the class. When I asked if I could schedule a class in the next two days, she said she was not at the office and she would call me back. Didn't receive a call before end of business day. Had to call back. No pick up. The second day, called then again. After a few times, the same lady picked it up, said they have a class for me at 11 (in 1.5 hours). But when I reminded her that I would need two spots, she said not available for today. And she did not even check for the day after, just told me we can't use the tickets. Then she gave me a lecture about I should have called earlier to avoid the pressure. But the reality is if you don't indicate the expiration date, how would we know???

I scheduled a riding lesson for my friends 10year old daughter. I walked in the barn and no one greeted me or looked up. I asked for person in charge. This women acknowledged me as she put food in her mouth. Never shook my hand or identified herself. She took my check and turned us over to the instructor. Also who did not identify herself or greet us. The lesson seemed to go ok but first impressions fade slowly. I have had horses most of my life. I worked at a teaching stable for years in Massachusetts. When a new client came to our farm making them feel welcome was number one for us. Why spend $35 to be unwelcome?

I am finally learning how to ride a horse ! After taking lessons a few other places, I came to Debbie and finally learned proper riding techniques. If you want to learn HOW to ride a horse correctly and HOW to stay on the horse while riding, Debbie will teach you the necessary skills required to correctly ride. Debbie will give you one on one lessons. She has been riding and around horses since she was one year old. She brings all her understanding of horse behavior and all her knowledge of horsemanship skills, to you . Come as a learner. Come with a genuine interest to ride. If I get lazy and neglect good form, she inevitably will catch my mistake and correct me, which only makes me a better rider. She will take you at any skill level. She will be straight up with you. If you come to genuinely learn from her, you will be taught . In the course of learning to ride, she will tell you lots of interesting stories about horses and horse behavior based on her own life experience of owning and being around many horses. She doesn't have an assistant . She runs the barn. So be patient in the signing up process. Just because you go to a barn with a warm assistant to greet you and schedule you , doesn't mean you will learn to ride a horse. A good and skilled instructor who enjoys seeing a student progress (that is Debbie), with a student who genuinely wants to learn , is what makes all the difference in mastering the skill.

Love it here! I look at this ranch as my get away and haven. I have learned more about horses, horseback riding, and proper gear at Fantasia Farm than anywhere else. I have been boarding with Debbie for years. I started with lessons and grew more confident each session, until I finally had the skills and knowledge to be a horse mom. She has helped me achieve a dream I have always wanted. She will help you explore your interest, whether it is barrel racing, jumping, cattle pinning, or simply just enjoying time with your horse. It could not be possible without a trainer like Debbie. Yes, you have to work at it but the reward of being a horseman is well worth it.
