falafel oasis

I have never been to a Mediterranean restaurants before, so after watching Goodall Country Kitchen You Tube review of this place, I gave it a try.The good: loved the fresh salad and the amazing hot Arabic Tea. The bad: Hummus had no taste and the fish tasted like eating sticks of butter, yuck.Two dinners and drinks were almost $50. I didn't expect fine dining prices. The customer service was good and it can easily serve large groups.I may have to re-watch that You Tube review to see if I miss something interesting or it is a no go for me.

Lady taking our order was super kind and comforting. ordered chicken shawarma and hummus on the side. shawarma came with fries and filled me up pretty good especially for being super cheap. the sauce on the chicken was bussalicious as well. fries were crispy and tasted good in the extra taziki they brought us. if ur in this area, i recommend you go try it an support q local business.

I love this place! All of the food is made fresh. Price is right and everything is tasty. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I truly enjoy the flavor pallette integrated in their plates and sandwiches. I always go here for their baklava and hummus.

Ordered on DoorDash. The positive - their hummus is fantastic. Chicken gyro was good, but the chicken was very tough.My husband's meal came with a side of hummus and we ordered an extra side of hummus. I specifically asked for 2 extra pitas (and said I'd pay extra). Those 2 pitas were all we got. So they serve hummus just by itself with no pita?And the pitas - wrapped in foil and still warm, but HARD AS A ROCK. Samosas... ther website and DoorDash menu has no description, but Ive always had the middle eastern version with meat. These were just potato... disappointing.You guys can do better.

CJ and I stopped in for lunch, both of us getting the Falafel Vegetarian plate. The portions were large, and they threw in a complimentary bean soup. All of the food was divine. There really is no ambiance...just a great place with good service to buy delicious Mediterranean food. We'll be back, even though it's pretty far from our neighborhoods.

They have a lot to choose from. This new restaurant has been around for a little over a year now. It took the place of Moby Dicks across from Indi's on poplar level rd. The menu had a lot of options, the presentation was nice but the food didn't have any flavor. Usually when I have leftovers, I take it home, but this time it was thrown out. The other 4 people that was with me did the same. The sauces that was offered was really good. They do have plenty of sitting on the side of the building (which is netted) & 3 small sitting spots inside where you order. If you like mediterranean food you should go check it out for yourself and judge for yourself because you might like it.

I got a gyro togo and forgot to put the sauce on it when I got home.It was still the best that I've had in Louisville. I'm getting another one tonight.

My friend and I found ourselves out Poplar Level Rd. when we passed Falafel Oasis. The small dine in/ carry out Mediterranean restaurant was clean, inviting add full of luscious smells. The menu offered chicken, lamb, beef and vegetarian dishes from shawarmas, tabbouleh, eggplant sandwiches and much more including a nice kids menu that includes pizza.My falafel sandwich was delicious and stayed crunchy and fresh until I returned home and had a great mix of chopped veg/sauce and tzatziki on side... Highly recommend! The chicken shawarma will be dinner...looks/smells so good... Oh... I met Silvie the new owner... she is so welcoming... can't wait to return!!Patti E.

The food was delicious. The server was delightful. No ambiance, just fresh food worth waiting for to be prepared.

I did not have an interest in going here because the exterior did not look well inviting, cared for and loved. However, if we would mention that when we go in, I think we will see a change because you are misssing out on great food, welcoming, clean and pleasant inside. The clerk was so warm and inviting, I now want to get back there and eat inside. I wanted a fast item to carry and drive and had the best experience in a long time for less than $5. Oh my that falafel was phenomenal as you take that 2nd bite into a luscious dill pickle! Hope to get back soon!
