Exit 62 Truckstop

During these trying days of a worldwide pandemic, the restaurant is currently closed. There was a note on the table that said to call a number to place your order. On Saturday, that means after 0830.I wanted a shower and had never used one here. The cashier rang up $10 and handed me a towel, small soap, shampoo and whatever was in the other packet. As it turned out, I ended up using my own travel supplies.Walk down the darkened hallway, past the men's room, past the women's room, past all of the cases and cases of soft drinks, and there you will find the door to the shower.I flipped on the light and was not impressed. But I stayed anyway. I took a few pictures and then proceeded to the shower. There was good water pressure and the temperature was good.Please see my shower room pictures for the negatives.I probably won't be returning for a shower. Ever.

We actually tried this restaurant by accident. We were on the road and hungry. I must say that very much enjoyed the food. My pork tenderloin was delicious and fork tender. My wife's home fries were the best I have ever tasted. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The only bad thing was my cornbread. I recommend passing on that. The price was fair.The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the environment. It is in fact an old time truck stop. Smells of smoke, has years of buildup, and the restrooms have concrete floors. Some people would dislike that, but really, you need to consider where you are; the deep countryAlthough it's a half hour drive, I will be going back again and again.

Mom & Pop truckstop, run by friendly folks, great food, inexpensive, lots of parking. Love the naner pudd'n !!!

Singly one of the worst restaurants for food I have ever been in. Bowl of chili was cold. Cheeseburger had a cold piece of American slapped on. The "homemade" 62 chips were harder than a rock and - need I say? - very stale. Smoke lingered heavily in the non-smoking section. The very nice older waitress was cool but not cool enough to make the food taste edible. NEVER be back to this one.

I haven't been here, but I wanted to leave a review b/c the employees were above and beyond helpful and friendly when my boyfriend's car broke down. Let him use their phone and even answered and handed him the phone when I had to call back - twice!

Great stop just off the highway. Food is great, friendly staff. Comfortable and relaxed. Mostly locals and truckers. Prices are low.

Nice little place to pull off but if you really have to use bathroom make sure people are with you...no toilet paper in women's restroom. Thank God I was traveling with ppl who I could call to come in and bring me some lol. Must purchase something yo use restroom.

Horrible. Missing food and the cook wanted to fight about it. The food was nasty and the service was worse.

The ribeye dinner was priced right however all three of our medium steaks were cooked dry and tough comparable to think cut jerky. The banana pudding and bowl of beans hit the spot but the chocolate pie was still a bit frozen (definitely not homemade) I'd stop by again to try the breakfast.

Excellent inexpensive food. Friendly staff Truck parking. Couldn't ask for more!! We stop here whenever we are in the area and are never disappointed. Love this place.
