It's a well established gym that's has plenty of equipment and has everything a gym rat could think of. They have two swimming pools one in door one out door pool, sunna, basketball goals, tanning beds. It's pretty relaxed environment with nice open minded individuals with a clean atmosphere. With affordable deals for family plans and others plans

They have began regular cleaning I see today so I'm definitely upgrading my stars, when I see consistency definitely will give 5 stars. The staff is always friendly and the rates are perfect, although I think they could "increase" the rates a bit if the cleaning continues!Great job!

It's been a few years ago that I last joined this gym. It was owned by different owners then.I joined again for my kid to get lessons but found a class I absolutely love! I started going just for the class and haven't used any other of the amenities yet. The downside they don't offer gym towels anymore(understandable due to Covid), the bathroom in the women's locker room aren't as the greatest. The staff is friendly & equipments are well stocked & there are plenty for use. I don't see cleaners by most of the equipment stations, it's suppose to be cleaned before & after yourself. The parking lot is a mess with tons of pots holes. There are some improvements that need to be made that why I am giving it 3 stars. I love my class I attend & other members are nice.

Horrible experience. My mom has been a member for 15 years. I just moved back to Kentucky from Georgia, she wanted me to go to swim and fitness (instead of planet fitness) so I could workout with her. For over TWO WEEKS we have tried to get in contact with ANYONE to add me to her plan. The lady in charge of membership has NEVER called us back. Several days we have called consecutively. One day she was in a meeting, one day she wasn't there, etc. We are literally in a worldwide pandemic and I KNOW the membership manager isn't busy. I'm sure they are hurting for more memberships and you literally can't even get one. This is a JOKE. I hope the new owners see this. I could have joined planet fitness 2 weeks ago and started at the gym literally that same day. My mom and I are going there in person today and I intend to be a "Karen". The first words out of my mouth are going to be "can I speak to a manager here". I mean, literally the worst customer service I have ever received. They need a new person to handle memberships. What a complete crap show.

Went here for a teacher training, traveled over night from IL to KY and stayed litterally next door at La Quinta. This club is exactly like Naper Olympic - looks like it was built in the 60-70s and hasn't been updated much interior wise. They had no towels in the locker room, adn I had to shower with tiny hand towels. Their cardio room was downstairs and got quite humid/packed easily since it was small. I guess I have spent too much time at the big box, big name clubs in our area. I will say this though, the members were all greeted by name, everyone knew one another and they had very inexpensive rates on personal training. The teacher training was nice, our instructors very friendly, but I could have done without the 1980s neon tubing in the room.

I went for a class having never been there before. The entire place was filthy and old feeling. The teacher did not acknowledge that two of us (out of 4) were new and had never taken her class before. The classroom is in a dingy basement. She said she didn't like my yoga mat and told me to pick out someone else's. Yuck, no thank you. Her instructions were, "follow me", then she started dancing and flapping her arms. I stood and watched her for a couple of minutes trying to figure out what she was doing. She offered no other instruction. So I picked up my mat and left. There were unattended children running all over the gym. I asked for a tour and the kid at the counter told me I could look around if I wanted. I just left.

STAY AWAY!!! THIS IS THE MOST UNCARING, MONEY HUNGRY, OLD ESTABLISHMENT AND WAY TO CLICKISH! I joined early this year prior to the whole Covid shut diwb and I was going 2-3 times a week ,only to notice some things that was a little weary. First off the cleanliness of the facility was a hit or miss, the rules that were posted seemed only applicable to new or people who weren't regulars if you were not in the "IN" group the posted rules did not apply to you. Seemed alot like High School, the cool kids and the non-popular kids.Secondly, I have taken real Zumba classes before but these classes are called Zumba only to have the members teaching them and no one seems to walk through the steps if you are new to the class. Actually if you are new no one even acknowledges you or welcomes you to the class. The so-called teachers talk and engage with each other or people who they know. The ladies section is way too small or way too many machines in it. It's a joke. The netting over it is filthy and nasty then to get there you have to walk through a bunch of men or kids playing basketball. Yep this section in a portion of the gym. Truly it's a joke. Lastly..... The whole COVID shut down hit and the place was closed but they still took out their membership fees, all of it. I inquired about it they gave some lame excuse of well the outside track is open. Why would I pay $42 a month to walk the outside track when I can go to Freeman Lake and walk for free. It seemed a little uncaring. Finally they agreed to reduce my rate to 10.60 a month however I was only reduced one month, when they were opened again on reduced hours BAM I was hit with the full fee again. The shut down affected my family as well as many others financially, I contacted them and asked since my husband got his hours cut and we were struggling, I would have to make a decision for my family and I could not continue my membership. I will need to cancel my membership and could they waive the fee of $100.00 since that was money I could use at home and the had taken the full fee out already. My response was they could not because they are a small business and they could not afford to waive the fee. This is coming from one of the largest fitness clubs. They are only objective is money! and milking their members. Pretty uncaring response if you ask me. Money Money Money1. sign up fees 2. cancellation fee $100.003. adding someone to your membership $25.004. changing someone to your membership $25.005. 2 free passes a month for a friend otherwise $10.00 a dayAbsolutely crazy!!!!I will never recommend this place to anyone!
