Really cool pub that servers beer / no food. The very unique beers are in signs up on the wall. Cool people too. I got the gluten free sour which had a strawberry banana puree. I can't say it was for me but I still loved the place as did everyone I was with

Cute venue in the Distillery district, a nice spot for a beer date. They have plenty of great options. I like dark beer so I came to try the tiramisu baba yaya 10/10

We decided to have dinner here because my friend is German and I'm half Swiss . We both grew up eating schnitzel and spaetzle which is what we both ordered. The schnitzel was as good as what my Dad makes . The spaetzle was pretty good as well . When we got there a few other people were sitting at the bar . We ordered at the bar and picked a table to sit at. The bartender was more than friendly and when we were done I'm guessing the chef was walking thru the dining area and stopped to ask if we enjoyed our dinner .

Great selection of beers, not just styles but ABV as well so you aren't stuck choosing between 7% and water. Good space, good vibe

Close to Rupp. Cozy bar with a nice selection of microbrews and pub fare. Fun bartenders. Board games to share. No res required. Get the fish and chips - you won't regret it.

Ethereal has a large variety of beers. I don't drink IPAs and was a fan of the farmhouse witbier and lemon saison which were both perfect for the summer weather. For non-beer drinkers, there's also wines and delicious craft cocktails. Honey, the bees are smoking oranges again was hands down my favorite cocktail from Lexington. They have multiple board games available which were a hit in our group. We also sat outside and enjoyed people watching. Loved our experience here!

First time to the Public house but I've been to their taproom location I believe in Distillery District. Service was great and friendly, food was awesome and drinks were tasty. Little patio seating out front but we were able to snag a spot early when they opened.

We were looking for a casual place for dinner near our hotel and happened upon Salt & Vinegar, the food portion of this brewery. Had a porter, which was smooth and not overly heavy. Ordered the brautwurst (actually missed having a braut at the Oktoberfest we attended the previous day in Cincinnati) which came with garlic mashed potatoes and snow peas. So delish. Hubby had the fish and chips which he really enjoyed. Very reasonably priced, great casual hangout.

Although we didn't make it to their actual brewery location we did happen to pop in here. I tried one of their IPA's which I liked and the awesome bartender made my indecisive wife a random mixed drink and told her if she didn't like it don't worry she'd make her something else. Turns out she liked it and we were in business! We sat outside, where there were a few tables, but they are on the corner of a busy intersection. They also serve food. Def check it out!

A must visit for any stay in downtown Lexington. Ethereal makes some incredible beers, but the food is the real draw at the Public House. Salt & Vinegar is not your average pub menu. The chef here creates delicious food that rivals any of the better restaurants in Lexington. Pair it with Ethereal beer and you have a combination that can't be beat in Lexington. Don't miss the Baba Yaga if on tap as it is my favorite stout brewed in Kentucky.
