This place has never disappointed! Friendly staff and excellent food every time! Best cheeseburger and chili dogs anywhere. Great fries and onion rings too.

Ermas has the best chili dogs. Just get the chili dog. Don't go chuching it up dirt. It is excellent the way it is. They also have great burgers and shakes. Best little burger shack around.

Erma's is an iconic small-town frosty freeze straight out of the 80s. You really can't find places like this anymore. They are only open during the summer season, usually from March-September. I recommend calling ahead to place an order (you can find their menu on their Facebook), otherwise you can end up waiting a while. But let me tell you-- it is WORTH the wait. Erma's burgers are to die for! I also recommend the spicy cheese bites and spicy fries. They also have great milkshakes. I usually end up getting a banana one! This is such a perfect spot that has really endured the test of time. Anyone stopping or passing through should take the time to go here.

Friendly and fast service. Happy to stop into a local place on a road-trip. I wish I'd had room for a soft serve.

Love this place. Such an iconic ice cream and burger affair. No drove thru or indoor seating just walk up to the window and carry out. During the Covid crisis the picnic tables were roped off with caution tape. Signs ask the patrons to order and stay 6 feet away from others as well ad the window Staff requested once we ordered to sit in our car and they would let us know when the food was ready. I think we were one of the only people to order on site. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food. Everyone else had placed a phone order and would just drive up and get there food with no more that a 5 minute or less wait. So call in your order during this crisis. I did not mind the wait as it was good to be in the car and out of the house. The food was its typical great flavor. I got a cheese burger and deep fried cauliflower. My spouse got a burger and onion rings. I LOVE THE DEEP FRIED CAULIFLOWER. My wife did not like the Cauliflower but she did enjoy her onion rings. We washed down the burgers and deep fried Covid free food with an Ale8. Hotdogs and chili are a good choice as well. Not sure how long this location has been called Ermas. In the 1970s it was called the Dairy Bar or maybe Circle W not for sure. My wife was raised on the food here and always likes for us to stop by when we are in the area. I recommend this to all who are Owingsville to grab a bite.

Most recent experience wasn't that great. Called ahead and ordered three burgers and a fish sandwich. Burgers were cooked well and fish was very tasty, but the fries were terrible. They were cold and disgusting. If I order from there again (they are seasonal though and will be closing soon for the winter) I believe I will be skipping the fries. Would recommend the onion rings over the fries.

Loved this place! Erma's staff was friendly and helpful as it was my first time visiting. I got the cheeseburger and fries. And I was curious about the cheese broccoli bites but said I'd try it next time, but they snuck in a little taste for me anyways with the fries which was very sweet. Also they were kind enough to walk it out to me while I waited in my car. I will be back again. The food was yummy and fresh. They keep it simple so if you want something be sure to ask for it!

In a small town like Owingsville, restaurant options are pretty limited. Luckily, Owingsville has a little gem like Erma's! Nothing hits the spot better on a hot summer day like this old fashioned dairy bar. You can get everything from fried pickles and catfish to peanut butter milkshakes and stromboli. It's also made to order from scratch, which makes it that much more delicious. My personal favorite is the Erma Burger. Seriously on my top 5 list of best burgers I've ever ate. Not to mention, they placed #3 in Kentucky's Best Burgers contest back in 2009.The only downfall is that I wish it was open all year round! Since this little dairy bar has no heat, it is only open during the warm months of the year. It's torture, but well worth the wait!

The burgers and fries are way to greasy. The only thing I like there is the ice cream.
