Emmy Squared Pizza - Nulu Louisville

There are two pizza spots in Louisville who are constantly neck & neck for the Ville's Best Za - and this is one of them. I don't have enough good things to say about the food every time we come. The 10x14 is sure to give you leftovers - but is also easy to split for two. Location is divine, with outdoor seating & lots of nearby places to explore in the Nulu area. Service is always top notch. If you enjoy good things go ahead and order the Big Hawaiian Pizza.

Was in town for a cousin meet up and ran across this restaurant. Just wanted to grab a snack to hold us over. Found a table outside which was perfect. Our server told us he was new and we were fine with that. Brandon did great . We tried to give him a (funny) rough time and he passed the test. A couple of people had the shareable salad with a side of chicken, waffle fries, mozzarella sticks, breakfast sandwich and wings. I really wanted to try the pizza but maybe next time. Hope to see you all in the near future PS I heard the frozen gin lemonade was good

Pizza from Emmy Squared is a preference bending experience. If you aren't a fan of pan/deep dish style pizza, you will be after eating here. The crust is just a perfect bite every time. The ingredients all come together and don't overpower one another, and the bite overall is just so flavorful!I would love to highlight our server Bryce! This gentleman changed my mood, made friends with our entire table, and just really made the experience 10/10. Do you ever feel rushed when being served? Like they just want to get your order and wrap it up? Our table enjoyed Bryce so much we had to tell him to go back to work. He is just a natural in conversation, excellent ability to make you feel understood. Bryce was willing to make any accommodation or recommendations our table needed. This is truly what made my experience a 5/5. When the food, atmosphere, and service come together like this....how could it not be a 5/5 review!If you are ready to experience the next level of pizza on the casual dining scene, Emmy Squared is your next stop.

Terrific Detroit pizza! Cocktails were terrific, too. While the server was new, she was attentive and personable.

Cute ambiance and yummy food but a little pricy. Just place your order and grab a seat!

Since turning plant based I haven't gone out for pizza much. Because cheese. My book club met at Emmy Squared Pizza this week, and because I love my friends and I love books I went. Very. Good. Decision. Here is why:- Outdoor seating - plentiful, comfortable, VERY good for people watching.- Service - very personable servers, water glasses always full, checked in at appropriate intervals.- THERE IS A VEGAN PIZZA OPTION. The Artie Bucco is a glorious combination of garlic confit, caramelized onions, and basil topped with a generous helping of vegan cheese that MELTS and TASTES GOOD. If you're not a plant based person you don't know how amazing and rare this is. Also, I love garlic and they do not skimp on this.My vegan pizza was $19, which seems steep for 6 pieces, but I did have leftovers and it was really delicious. For plant based pizza, Emmy Squared is a solid choice.

While in the area we were hungry and looking for something to drink and eat: a couple we passed on the sidewalk said the food court ( so called ) near where we were was a good place. We stopped at Emmy squared. We were seated and Zack was our waiter was spectacular. He was just helpful in every way. We ordered a pizza BIG ANG -house made vodka sauce, ricotta, double pecorino, italian sausage, banana peppers. Pizzas are 8x10 and cut into 6 pieces.It was a very busy day ( nice out ) so food was a bit slow but it was okay. Lots of people watching and some cold brew was called for.Pizza was served and looked awesome. The vodka sauce was great and very tasty. This is a Detriot style pizza. Fluffy outer crust and crispy. It was pretty awesome tasting all the ingredients combined made for a good pizza!

Delicious Detroit style pizza, friendly service, and decent prices. What more can you ask for? The pizza is nice and fluffy and not too thick or heavy. The large pizza comes with 10 slices and was enough for three people with a few pieces left over. It's also right next to bars and other businesses so we recommend trying to sit outside for good people watching.

Great service and the pizza is delicious. The crust is amazing but I prefer less toppings.

Oh my gosh! Best pizza I have ever had. Brianna, our server, was so sweet and attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The atmosphere was clean, industrial, and so fun with the music! The waffle fries and the mozz sticks were so crisp and fresh! Definitely coming back.
