The instructors, Matt and Steve, are great! The program can be challenging and seem somewhat unorganized initially, but once you get into the swing of things and understand the format of the exams, it can be fun and really interesting. The professionals there have a certain set of expectations which may not be clear to the average joe but, again, you pick it up with time.Wayne is a hoot. Freakin love the staff!

I was misguided on course's availability and went ahead to apply only after application is when i was told that the class was full and the next available class would be four months away. I do not trust their staff anymore.

Don't waste your money on this school. Has many complaints with BBB and attorney generals office. You'll get nothing for your money. Their not flexible, not certified and not professional. Save your money and go to medquest.

Don't waste your money on this school they forgot my daughter when it came time for them to get her an internship it took them over 9 months and if you don't get the internship done in their time frame it's over. They don't have a time frame when it comes to doing what their suppose to do for the student. Spend the extra money and go to a certified school like med quest. There's a reason their not a certified school. Don't waste your money to find out.

Do NOT waste any of your money on this very unprofessional establishment. I refuse to call this a school since I mostly taught myself everything while I was here. My classmates and I had to pay for everything that made no sense for us to pay for. We spent over $1000 to take the class, and then told we had to pay (OUT OF POCKET) to take our exams, do our homework, to get a background check, and more! The only thing we did not pay for was the one shirt they gave us to wear to class. Aside from this, any concerns, or questions, we had about class would not get answered (or just blatantly ignored) by the owner, Sarah Clark. After many emails being sent, she would ignore certain emails even after us confirming to her that they were in fact being sent when she would lie about never receiving them. Another example of her unprofessionalism, a classmate of mine was told he was passing the class before our final exam, but then was told 30 minutes after our following class started that he wasn't allowed to sit for the exam, because of his grade. Then when asked about the situation, Sarah made a rude comment about how this student, "wouldn't pass even if he took the test", then proceeded to laugh at him. A very unprofessional establishment when you would better off going to BCTS for an actual education compared to what you would receive here.

The phlebotomy class was disappointing. Due to the second teacher's inability to teach the class. If the first teacher had been able to complete the class my review may be more positive. But, it is not. The second teacher was only there to complete the class. She stated the class was seriously behind and would make sure "we" would pass the national exam. I spoke with the second teacher about my opinion and she was not interested in hearing my opinion nor if I quit. At this time I am not working as a phlebotomist and I am unsure if I will. But I will say that the school is a good idea that has not been made accountable.I will not give a positive reference to the school if asked.

I am a former student here, and can say with confidence that if you are looking to further your education anywhere else would be better. The instructors and administration are extremely unprofessional. Administration and office staff never responded to phone calls or emails within a timely manner. I waited for responses to emails for two weeks on multiple occasions. My instructor showed up at least 20 minutes late to every class, and sometimes we wouldn't even see him until hours into the lecture. By the time the course was coming to an end our instructor was scrambling to teach us new skills that we needed to know for our certification exam and some skills we just had to figure out for ourselves because we were never actually taught them. When my classmates and I started doing ride times, multiple people, including myself, were told by employees at ambulance companies that EMTP was the worst place to go get certified because they don't actually teach you anything.I usually don't write reviews but I wish I would have known all this information before I wasted $1000+ on this course. I truly hope this is helpful to you prospective students.

The staff is very professional. You'll learn a lot in a short period of time. I took the SRNA class and my instructor was more than helpful.

I encourage everyone to do research before attending this school. Myself and many others have had a very bad experience. The staff at the school has a very high turn over. You could come to class and have no instructor show. In one case an instructor walked out on their class fighting with the owner. Most classes start with many students, yet only a few make it to the testing or the national exam. I could right a book on the unorganized and unprofessional things I saw myself. Majority of the classes will run grossly over the time that is promised by the school for completion. I know of instructors that were sleeping with multiple students. This post is intended for people to use as a base to understand why they may not want to attend. Some instructors are not certified to teach! The great ones they had have left and the school blames their students for the fact that they can not keep a schedule. They are very nice at first while they are trying to get your money. Things will change quick once they have it. You will not be respected as a student or customer. I have never experienced ANYTHING like it. Research and ask around.... I know many in the EMS Community that will substantiate my claims.
