If you don't mind being wedged in like a sardine, youll be right at home. You are not only close side by side, you're closer back to back. Most sites are full hookups with cable. Thats the only positive going for them. Their Wi-Fi is ok at best. They have an old simi truck rim for a fire ring. And a lot of full timers. There are creek side sites which I would not recommend. There are Canadian Geese that roam that area and they leave behind a mess! I would especially not recommend them to people with children. We came, we saw, we toured, and we left. We camped at Elkhorn Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground. It's quiet, clean and the staff is friendly. Spending 5 nights here. Roads are paved and easy to maneuver our 43 ft Class A Coach. Other size Big Rigs would fit with no problem. Some sites are gravel and some are paved. We are in space #62 .... Concrete pad & Spacious enough. One thing we're curious about.... Our fire pit is at the back of our Coach.... Why? Beside being too close to the Coach, It's right next to the water, electric & sewer pipe. Needless to say, we didn't use it. It would have been better if it was moved to the front area. Plenty of room and would have been more enjoyable. Definitely would stay again.

We stayed here one night while driving through Kentucky. Late arrivals welcome. Asphalt drive. For a Class A pulling a vehicle, it was no trouble pulling into the sites. Some sites are concrete while others are gravel and all fairly level. They have many amenities including laundry, pool, putt putt, playground, camp store, and a river for swimming, kayaking, and fishing next to the campground. Bathhouse was clean. Check out time is 1pm. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a very busy RV campground and yet it stayed clean and quite. There is all kinds of amenities and recreational activities for all. Fishing, swimming, volleyball bicycling and more. The facilities which include restrooms and shower are top notch. I highly recommend this park.

Conveniently located close the several distilleries along The Bourbon Trail. Quiet, pretty park with clean updated restrooms. We stayed in a full hookup back in site. New owners will be making some changes to make all sites full hookup. Not sure of the time line for this. For now, if you want a full hookup, I would recommend not staying on the first row if you want to leave on a Sunday. The dump station in right next to the bathhouse and the line to dump was all the way down the road and wrapped around the corner and down the road. The staff was awesome, helpful and friendly. At this time, there is no public access to the creek unless you are staying on a creek front site. From talking to the staff, the new owners have plans to change that as well. Overall this is a great park. We look forward to staying here again. We stayed on site 81B

We LOVED the granite countertop bathrooms..I got lucky and scored some FREE hair products that some kind lady left...there was a pretty bad odour in there thoughalso liked the LOUD speaker that announced an Elvis impersonator was going to be appearing at 7:30pm at the pavilion..we were on our way but started to rainThe site was backed to a field (spot 56) which was nice...They had lotsa literature at the front desk about places to see and goDidn't notice anything about Buffalo Trace Distillery (which was something to see)..we don't like the abundance of full time RV'S at a site..and of course like every other private site there were quite a few....We would probably venture to State Parks in the future

Beautiful, clean campground with friendly staff. By far the most peaceful, quiet campground we've visited. Lots of things to keep the kids busy. Sites along the creek do not offer sewer hookup, but there are several sites that do offer full hookup.

So when you call almost 4 weeks before your arrival to cancel because my wife broke her leg and won't be able to compete at the horse show, they show their "compassion" by charging you a $25 dollar processing fee! Nice!! Well all I can say is we would have stayed there a bunch of times throughout the next bunch of years but that won't ever happen. Enjoy your "processing" fees
