Elizabethtown sports complex is a massive and impressive sports complex that hosts a variety of sporting fields from baseball, football and soccer located in Elizabethtown Kentucky. Recently made a visit here to watch my oldest daughters friend play a soccer game. A very stunning and beautiful campus and a great place to watch or participate in a ball game. The landscaping here is very nice and the place is highly maintained. Very nice concessions with covered roof, indoor restroom facilities and even boasts a cool little playground area that my 2 year old had a blast on. The front of the park even features a few small walking trails at the front that I assume may be used for cross country meets and just leisure strolls. Overall we had a great experience here watching the soccer game. We made the trip from Lousiville and wholeLousiville has a few sports complexes, none of them matchup up to this one in Elizabethtown.

Been going the last two weeks to walk the trail. Only complaint is the bathrooms are always locked and the park isn't open for walking on the weekends and late evenings.

Pretty impressive park. Lots of nice soccer fields with lights, including two huge turf fields with gigantic lights (championship field). Nice, because on days like today, when there's been lots of rain, they can salvage their other fields by using the turf. Very good planning. An improvement would be bleachers (little ones) for the everyday fields. Now, there are plenty of things I could critique about the way the tournament is run, but that has nothing to do with the park. We also noticed lots of walking/running paths, it would be a great place to ride bikes, a fair amount of toilets, plenty of parking spaces (which many times is an issue at tournaments...don't get me wrong, getting IN the park on Saturday morning was the worst clog up of cars I've ever experienced at a tournament, but that was a volunteer issue). The baseball/softball fields look fantastic. I'm sure there are probably other things this park offers that I haven't even seen. Huge negative? That nasty "poop pond" that greets you at the front gate. It looked so gross yesterday, and my son said he actually saw a little dock - right by a sign mentioning waste water! UGH really?

Beautiful sports park! Clean restrooms. Concessions were opened the entire time. Decent concession food. Priced a little higher than most. Elizabethtown is a very nice area.

I grew up in Etown. Been going to travel parks all over for a while. Was cool to go back. Fields were ok. Turf great for rain but didn't play true. Concessions sucked and were soooo slow. And there were no carts carrying old folks from the vast parking to the games. Like at pretty much every other facility I've been to. So my mom wasn't able to attend. Plenty of carts carrying umpires around. Which was good since so many umpires have poor eyesight.

Beautiful park with tons of amenities and a great staff- very well maintained.I don't know if the reviewer above actually read the sign next to what they called a "poop pond" (I'm guessing not), but that's RAIN water run-off in that pond, not "poop." If you read the sign, it describes the importance of treating storm water run-off from sites like the park. So that water comes from rain from parking lots and such, being held and cleaned up before going into the creek next to the park. It is impressive that the park also has environmental features, not just sports and recreation.
