I has seen several friends and foodie folks on the interwebs talk about this "Mexican at the Mall" location, so I decided to hop out and see what the fuss was about.I judge every trip to a new Mexican place by their version of the Speedy Gonzalez. This is a taco, an enchilada bean or rice. I had the beef version of this here, while it was solid, it did not blow my socks off. Beef was seasoned well, everything was piping hot and the taste was pretty bland overall. The refried beans were very tasty and the little bit of cheese on top was a great touch!I did not care for the salsa and chips. It didn't have much zip to it or any onion or cilantro flavors that I like. Chips were thick but warm and sprinkled with salt.I was there in the middle of the day and the place seemed a little dark.Service was fast and friendly. I will give it another whirl and try something different. But there are other Mexican places I will try before I go back to this one. Will give them an shout out for putting the crunchy taco on a bed of lettuce.

The food here is great. Chips and salsa are delivered almost instantly when you sit down. The chimichanga and the birria tacos are the best items on the menu imo. The flan and fried ice cream slaps too. Prices are reasonable. Don't really like the way staff looks at you when you order a lot of food. I get it that it's likely not purposeful, but it still stings a little : /

The food here is superb, I am from Brownsville Texas and I'm used to eating really good Mexican food. These guys here are very good and so far I have had the arroz con pollo and the carnitas, both I would recommend. I will definitely be back for more.

Ambiance is pretty typical, but looked super clean. Server was quick to always ask if I need anything (but not too often). Although I was tempted to order Birria tacos, I've never been here and usually judge a Mexican place by the Chile relleño and cheese enchilada, I ordered lunch #1 ONLY $6.99! (Chile relleño, taco, beans and guacamole). The chips were fresh and crispy and although the salsa was super mild it still had decent flavor. The Chile relleño was good, the beans were smooth and tasty and although I don't usually order a crunchy taco (street tacos are my go to) the taco meat was seasoned nicely and I enjoyed it. There are 2 things I'm pretty picky about at restaurants... iced tea (which I did not order) and guacamole... I must say my favorite thing on the plate was the guacamole! I'm super picky about guac and ask for it on the side or to be left off completely... but theirs is amazing! I loved it, not to say the Chile relleño wasn't good, but if I ever want a snack and margarita... I'm coming here for guacamole and margaritas! I forgot to mention the margaritas were also amazing! Yum! I will be back!

Excellent food and service. Restroom was very clean too. Great salsa and chips!. I was seated quickly and my server was so nice! Thanks you a great place to stop while traveling and take a break!

Ate here for the first time tonight. By far the most delicious and fresh Mexican we have eaten in central Kentucky. Had fajitas Jalisco. Ate every bite. All our food was piping hot and the margarita was great. If you've not been here you're missing out.

Literally the worst tacoe salad i ever tried. I couldnt eat it the lettuce was rotten and the shell had a lot to be desired

first- the food is amazing. my favorite mexican restaurant i have ever had. the homemade chips and salsa are SO good! their salsa is exactly how i like it. very flavorful and smooth, not chunky. sometimes it is also a little spicy. i usually get pollo rodeo, which is the chicken with queso, refried beans, and rice and it comes with tortillas. sometimes i also get a side of sour cream. the portions are so huge and the price isn't bad at all. the taste is amazing. i have also gotten the chimichangas and they are amazing as well. the margaritas are also so good, as well as the fried ice cream. also, such a great lunch buffet.second- the staff is incredible. after going a few times and having amazing interactions with the staff, they started to remember me. i became very friendly with the staff and they even started to remember my order because at the time i would always get the same thing. multiple people from staff would come and talk to me and who i was with and we have even built up a friendship over years of coming back to this place. sometimes they would also bring free dishes or desserts as well. service and food alone are a 10/10!third- i love the location of this place. also, i love the feel of being in there. comfortable seating and lighting. i love that they do weekly events such as live music and trivia. i have attended both and you don't want to miss. my friends and i had so much fun on trivia night. i tell people from all over how amazing this place is and how it is the most underrated restaurant in richmond, ky. in all the years of going, i have only had to wait for a table once and that was because it was dinner time on cinco de mayo.

We went there last nite and it was good so give it a shot tell us what you think ...fresh chips n salsa to start. Friendly staff. Eager to keep you happy. Good food too. I got a burrito and it was predates darn good. We're picky and we liked it so we're going back most definitely

My comfort place, staff is super friendly, prices are great, margaritas are delicious, never super busy, all around a great place to stop for dinner
