El Jaibo

We came on a Friday night, we were seated very quickly and the waitress was very nice. We ordered tacos Al pastor, burrito Jalisco, and empanadas. WE also ordered a side of the jalapeños toreador. The flavors of everything were wonderful. We will be back

I love this little hole in the wall Mexican place! It's delicious. Because I always get the same thing (torta milanesa de pollo), I don't know much about the other food. The tortas are delicious. So, so good. But last night I tried the quesadilla de asada, and WOW! So good. Highly recommend this little place in Winchester. Great service, great food, and great prices!! Will update with photos when I go again!

Nice little Mexican spot nestled in a small plaza. I wasn't expecting much but I was craving Mexican. I give 4 stars because food is authentic, tasty and well seasoned. Staff was very friendly, always checking on me at the right time (without a mouthful) LOL... and was always given refills of drink, chips and salsa so I never ran out.Be sure to ask for the bottles of chilled homemade green hot sauces. They are homemade and so delicious. Careful, one has got a hot bite to it;but oh so good!!! I would return and enjoy a meal here again. If craving Mexican give this place a try.

This place is everything we hoped for and more. We are from California and crave authentic Mexican food with real flavor. We love salsa and here you get 4 choices. Mild to wow!! Incredible!!! The service and staff A+ . Best hole in wall Mexican food in Kentucky. This will be our Friday Taco night date.

Five days in a row... that's right five days back to back, every day. That is what I did this week at this new Mexican restaurant. So good. I literally love there tacos. They have that wonderful green sauce that taco bell use to have but decided to discontinue.El jaibos is located on the Bypass in Winchester in the old Grace Coffee location. They just opened a few weeks ago and they already have a loyal following from what I could gather while in the restaurant. I have dined in as well as carry out and the service has always been fast and friendly. The place is clean and also the food is so affordable. I should probably not eat there 6 days a week but at about 11am I start thinking el jaibo tacos. I highly recommend this based upon the food, cost and speed of service.

Not a great experience last night. First, they eliminated most all their regular height tables and replaced them with the high bar tables with stools. Very difficult for for shorter or older folks. So we ate at a booth that was so tight and bad seating that it was very uncomfortable. Then the salsa is thin and runny, which is a bad change from the thick chunky salsa we enjoyed the last visit. Then my wife's fajita wasn't very good. My fish was good. And the guacamole was great. Now seems more of a Mexican bar. Might try again after a long absence.......

If you want real authentic Mexican this is the place for you! The pork street tacos are awesome with hand made soft shells cilantro onion and about any other sauce you want. They also have the regular burritos chimichangas beans rice ect with massive portions and very cheap price! They don't serve alcohol yet but the owner Oscar said it will be soon.

Great find in Winchester! Much better than the other Mexican spots in town. Delicious tacos, Mexican coke and Jarritos. What else could you want!Had the steak and it was perfect.

Two of us had our first visit here yesterday for lunch. It was really very good. Summary observations: very clean, bright, more extensive menu that we had expected; friendly and fast service; very reasonable prices. We had two tacos and three enchiladas between us. Great sauces and flavors. We both liked that they grill the chicken and beef, rather than just baking it. It's a nice alternative to the other Mexican restaurants in town. Thankfully, they were busy too. Give them a try; they're in the spot where Grace had the lounge chairs and tables!

This place never fails! Fortas and tacos are my favorite. The sauces that come with are great as well. Can't go wrong here. Always great food and Oscar is the best!!
