El Charro Authentic Mexican Cuisine

The food is pretty much like every other Mexican place. Nothing special in my opinion but my wife likes it. The food is good and service is good but the atmosphere is really lacking. The cool white LED lights make it a bit depressing to me. Honestly I hate the lighting and it makes me not want to sit in there. I feel like I'm sitting in a warehouse or something. It is certainly not warm and inviting in any way. I hope that they do something to improve the atmosphere.

We didn't eat here except for chips and salsa. We had drinks. We shared the margarita sampler. Pineapple my favorite watermelon mango and spicy jalapeño and cucumber. My mouth was burning. The service was great and they were attentive

Great drinks, great tacos, and nice service. I always enjoy their food and the calmness of this place on a Sunday after church. Outdoor I'd beautiful on a nice day. Very chill and quiet spot.

The food is ok. I'm not so sure it's still under the same management. The food and service is not what it used to be. My meal yesterday was terrible. It was burnt and NOT how I ordered it. I thought about registering a complaint but not sure I want to deal with it!!! The ambience is minimal Mexican. I don't feel like I'm in a Mexican restaurant. I'd have to give it a 1 or 2. Just not the same for some reason.

Exactly the same as every Mexican restaurant here. Same rice and beans, tortillas, chips, cheese, salsa, starts with "El," you name it. The burrito I had was rather bland, and frankly none of it tasted like the good, authentic Mexican I've had in the past. It didn't taste bad, just not the best you can have in the area.

Amazing FRESH authentic Mexican food...... wonderful service, friendly staff. Eat a ton and don't feel gross and bloated!

We came for a late lunchHad the cucumber jalapeño margarita and mango chamoy margarita-both delish. Food was fresh and great flavor! I had the breakfast burrito and my husband had the ala carte burrito - we added a side of rice and beans. All yummy! My only issue was the chips were not warm. But this place was so yummy! We will be back for sure!Tip- ask for spicy salsa for the chips!

The words "authentic" and "Mexican" in the restaurant's name is misleading. Like the decor of this restaurant, the food is bland. Not even salt or pepper is used. There wasn't any on the table either. The food without a doubt was from a can, microwaved, and some dishes just looked like it was boiled meat. The food was dry, tasteless and an insult to real Mexican cuisine. Portion sizes were small compared to what you're charged for. Way over priced for what you get.Even the waitress seemed inconvenienced since people actually showed up for dinner. The staff was less than eager to serve anyone and seemed to be going through the motions of "working." Will never eat here again nor recommend it. If you want something more authentic, Taco Bell is better than this place,

First time eating here. Went for a late lunch around 2 on Friday. Only 1 other person in the restaurant. Was a little concerned that we may have made a bad decision. Once the food started arriving, it alleviated that concern. Chips and salsa were good and the waitress brought a dish with three sections for different heat varieties to add to the salsa. I had the chicken fajitas, which were good, and my wife got the steak and cheese burrito, which just looked like a large soft taco with cheese sauce pored over it. She said it was good, also. The Mangonada was delicious. Cheese dip was good but the portion was small. We will be eating here again.

Very good food! Service was efficient & friendly! Great free chips & salsa & you can order hotter salsa free of charge. I had Coctel de Camarones & it was full of shrimp & very filling!
