Jerk refers to a style of cooking in which the main ingredient is coated in seasoning for 12hr and slow- cooked over grill traditionally composed of great wood positioned over burning coals.
Our wings are seasoned with our fined spices left to rest at a cold temperature for 12hrs and smoked for 3hrs.

The jerk chicken is perfectly seasoned. The plantains are amazing and go perfectly with the rice and beans. Do yourself a favor and get a bottle of the hibiscus beverage.

They have pompano today!! Once I confirmed by phone that they do indeed have pompano today, I quickly placed my order. 30 minutes later, I picked up my fried pompano meal! It consists of a whole fried pompano smothered w a hot (or not) relish, on top of beans and rice. The relish is made w tomatoes, onions and Scotch bonnet peppers. It is tasty, savory and 4/5 on my hot scale: hot enough to make me sneeze, but not enough to stop eating, lol. The sauce is great mixed into the rice, too. As far as whole fishes go, pompano is one of the easier ones to navigate since there is only one central bone. I polished mine off quickly. I will definitely come back for more!

This place never disappoints! David and Kissi treat you like family. I was given a free piece of carrot cake for my birthday. It was amazing! So moist and full of flavor. My husband ate the curry chicken and couldn't stop talking about it. I always go for the yellow rice, plantains and greens with pico and habanero sauce all over everything! Yum!

We heard so many good things about this place and finally tried them at last. It lived up to the buzz big time. We arrived later in the day and it got busy real quick. This small shop was a little overwhelmed keeping up with delivery driver and four takeout orders. They had sold out of the some things already. We got chicken, rice, and other stuff. Warning the ginger juice is very strong and needs a warning label.Can't eat in and has a small parking lot. Call early to get stuff before it sell out. You got to try this Caribbean gem at least once. I will be back many times to come.

The food is genuinely some of the best we've eaten in all of Louisville. We both got the Love Platter, everything was fresh and hot, seasoned perfectly and the wings/curry chicken were tender and juicy. I loved the plantains and my only regret is that I didn't order extra. They balance the spice of the curry perfectly. I can't believe we've never eaten here until today, we'll definitely be back and adding this spot to our monthly rotation.
